I admit that.. Retracements are less of a concern for me because I place trades on long term basis.. I think shorters hate me just because of this...

I'm not saying that AUD/USD will continue up but this is a funny example of why most traders lose money. They go against the trend, constantly trying to call the top of trends. It's like going against the flow of a river while kayaking.

Yes i am using weekly and monthly timeframes to place trades.. often accompanied by D1 TF if necessary

at least we should see 7940 first before moving up.

we broke 7820
next is 8180 and 8550.

Arslan i saw your TE.
i saw you are holding trades for weeks, but i dont see weekly pip run as it should be in hundreds.
Do you have a different account or is it the same where you trade long term ?

Also the Govt mentions about employment.
It doesn't tell you that people are working in some cases 3 jobs to pay their bills.
Infact the whole employment thing is a mockery and it doesnt reflect the state of the economy because of "sampling" WTF in 2017 ?

Besides that the govt have been trying to stimulate the economy with jobs mainly infrastructure unlike the last govt who just employed public servants to do SFA. The objective was to make the employment rate better.

The Australian economy is like a duck against the tide ... lots of paddling but going nowhere .

Then we have one of the richest natural resource nations in the world paying the highest prices for electricity because the govts FU.
The back lash will come .. Businesses will close we have been warned of blackouts and then those who cant pay their bills ..
A mess for a 1st world nation ..

Well shame on me. Another case of paying too much attention to FF posts. Granted the rise on Thursday was big but should've listened to my experience that these pairs don't just shoot on up like that with no looking back. At least not when there aren't genuinely extraordinary circumstances propelling the moves

pay attention to CAD, it influences AU... as does EU... (mainly because of the US index's weighting towards the EURO)...

what is strange is that right now on m5, UCAD is up, UJ is up, EU hardly moved, GU down, NU slight move and AU moved up... so someone somewhere is still buying AUD atm

Nope. Going back up. But not for long.
Back to around 0.76. before the real move UP which may even see 0.97 eventually.
