I think so. Perverse? How so? Because the people are not wearing clothes? I could care less of an artist's sexual orientation until it interferes with my political views then that is when I have a problem. Other than that, live and let live! I like the song. It's chill!

Nope, I expected more to chime in after they saw it is a safe way to discuss Judaism, not you fear any reprisals, but even Steven M. on his hypocrisy video got red faced a few times. It is a touchy subject. So, let me add a log to the fire.

1. Yes, Jesus was a socialist, to the left of Bernie Sanders in fact. He did not believe in material acquisition or even possession. That is socialism at it's very core.

2. The Romans killed Jesus. If the Jews had killed him, he would have been stoned. The Romans crucified people. That is why he is put up with a common thief according to the literature. Why would the Jews decide just that ONE time to crucify when their commandments say to stone people?

3. Speaking of incarnations of Jesus, they have a bunch of pictures of a Chinese Jesus. He looks like Confucius to me. The idea of Jesus is a concept in my view. True Judaism is a mean feat, which why Israel has split the way it has. It is hard to be a Jew.

Seems like Zeppelin moment here. Religion is a lot like certain types of women. ( Of course Jen is excluded)

Well, that's the end of Jacob Rees-Mogg's chances of PM then. To be forced to carry a rapist's child is a life sentence and I can't see many women voting for that.

He said that was his view and it wasn't and would not be government policy.

There would be no forcing of anybody to do anything.

I respect he had the balls to be honest about his views.

While I agree, I thought you were conservative? Abortion is murder? I am beginning to see that the Uniparty is breaking down the further we go into the RH.

Then why not just keep his mouth shut? How can he argue a case (for abortion laws) if he has no conviction?

Abortion laws are already on the book, there isn't widespread support to overturn them, it's therefore very unlikely he will ever have to argue for them. He was asked a direct question of his personal opinion and he gave a direct answer. I think he deserves credit, unlike the whimp Farron.

Jmn, I don't believe you can blanket something like abortion. Each case is different. I certainly agree that the rules concerning abortion on the whole should be tightened up, especially with regard to timescales. Looking at the worst case scenario, say it was a 13 year old who was raped; would you deny that child an abortion and right to her own life and education? On the other hand, I've been down that road and it is the biggest regret of my life. It shouldn't be so easy.

Jen as a man I do not have the right to discuss abortion. That is my hard core view. Do I personally think it is wrong, yes I do. But if I were on the supreme court here in the USA I would be a huge hypocrite to try to put that into law. I am not being PC here at all. I just have to honestly say, what a woman does with her reproductive choices where I am not the potential father is completely none of my business. I regret that you made the choice that you did, but I also know that maternal instinct in a mentally healthy woman would not causally make such a choice. As a result the choice much have existential for you, as you are clearly of sound mind. That is suffering that we men are just not qualified to speak to. I especially applaud you for even revealing something like that to a bunch of old men.

For me the abortion question, I will gladly punt every time.

I feel uncomfortable knowing that is the way he thinks. It's like May announcing her personal view is to remain in the EU (we all know that it is anyway), but she is committed leading the process for exit.

That's sweet of you Jmn. I was quite different back then to how I am like now. I was pretty naive and thought my life was going places. I was actually in two minds, but what really tipped the balance was when he said he wasn't ready to be a father and I was too scared to go it alone. I just wish I was braver. I knew I had made a big mistake as soon as I got home. So, I would welcome abortions being made less easily available. Did you know that there is a heartbeat at 7 weeks and abortions cannot be carried out before 7-8 weeks because the fetus is too small? It would be a teenager now. I count the years.

Well from my understanding of reading certain interpretations, the Jews gave consent to the Romans to carry out Jesus's Crucifixion but were reluctant to do so for fear he would become even more powerful due to his ardent followers. The Romans kept punting back to the Jewish priests as to what to do with Jesus before ultimately deciding to put him up on the cross. Wasn't it the Jews at the temples that were indeed the money changers in which Jesus himself turned their tables over?
