hi, thank you dave for your wonderful contribution for forex traders.i have installed and uploaded the agilitytrader3 , expert open in right way but when i press backtest button its not showing any activity against it.also showing optimize results without equity trend snap.please guide me

There is no download link. When you attempt to use the upgrade features, you will be prompted for the upgrade licence key which is obtained from the link that you were redirected to after your purchase. You can also manually overwrite the standard key with the upgrade key in Agility3.lic with a text editor. This file is under \MQL4\Files accessed from File, Open Data Folder in MT4.
As far as I am aware, the email system is working correctly. PM me if you still have problems.

Ensure that you have enabled any symbol that you wish to back test. If the symbol is enabled, run a back test on the default set file to ensure that it is working. If that is working then there is a problem with your own set file which you will need to upload (as .txt) so that I can review it for errors.
Dear Dave, I confuse some concept about AT3. The EA is capable of operating with multiple instruments from a single chart.
1. Could it do backtesting and optimizing with multiple instruments from a single chart?
2. The same set file is impossible with perfect performance for all currency pairs in multiple instruments.
3. What there are huge difference between backtest and real trading?
Therefore, what is the advantage of AT3?

1. Yes. It can backtest and optimize the results of multiple instruments on a single chart. That means that you only have to set the parameters using a single instance of AT3. Naturally thus gives the best overall past result over a range of instruments but it is important to realise that individual instruments and timeframes may give a better individual result.
2. The set file only gives the best overall performance with the optimized parameters over the whole range of instrument(s) and timeframe(s).
3. Past performance does not predicate the future.

Hi Dave,
You have developed a great EA. I am new to forex trading and first time posting on the forum. I have recently found your original posts from
Traders Gift on Forex Factory and followed it to the current Agility Trader 3.
I am currently testing Agility Trader 3 with the included set file for the RSI strategy. The default set file showed negative results but after optimizing it, it showed unbelievable results of $51,646 profit over the last 3 months. But upon closer inspection of the trades that was executed, I could not match it to my brokers (Global Prime) demo account charts for EURUSD . In your posts, you mention that the Agility Trader 3 does the backtesting with my brokers data file. Is this correct? What I am doing wrong? See attached files.
Also, when I run the Agility Trader 3 EA on the Metatrader Strategy Tester program, it shows zero trades. Is the Agility Trader 3 EA compatible with MT4 Strategy Tester? If so, what do I need to do to get it to work?
Please help me.
Yes i run it in live account and i din't manage to test it with strategy tester i was based in agility's trader optimazation only and i used amost all set files except pivots and triangulation.

Agility Trader 3 is not suitable for Strategy Tester because of the structure of the Set Files which allow for Multi Instrument considerations in addition to Multi Timeframe considerations.
Agility Trader 4 which will soon be released will be compatible with Strategy Tester.
For those of you claiming bad results, please remember that the EA gives you the tools not the solution.

Hi Dave,
Thanks for responding. Can you provide a setfile and test criteria and results so we can test Agility Trader 3 and verify that we can get similar results? That is currency pair, test period, test data provider, etc.
