Well we can't go on forever paying for the sins of the past. It's history and that's that. If we maintain that stance our very existence is at stake.
The young left are a bunch of frogs on a slow boil. Complicit in their own demise as their actions help to unwittingly seal their fate. It's interesting no one has any hangups about the Roman Or Mongol Empires.

That statement implies that colonization was a bad thing for the native countries and now the west must atone for those sins.
I think you should turn the q round and ask if we hadn't colonized Africa/India/America/S America/Canada????
Would they be what they are today - IMHO they should be bloody grateful.

The response to that argument is that the native countries had their human capital and natural resources taken away. As a result they are crippled. Believe me, I made that argument to a woman from Palestine and she went ballistic. I have also had a similar response to anyone from Africa, and even from a few from Europe. Most nations hate the West because of colonization, and they are gleefully waiting for the fall. It appears that in Europe the people there feel the same way about themselves. I would go so far to say if a Swedish woman is raped, and becomes pregnant, then she will celebrate diversity when the baby is born.

People don't feel like it is history and that's that. Look at Angela Merkel. In her soul I think she wants Germany destroyed. No one cares about Rome or Mongolia because their Empires fell. Same with the Zulu and Japan.

Good point. I was answering as though everything we've ever done was a calamity, do we still now just lay back and take the rodgering. I say no, bollox to the white guilt it's about survival.

And that is because of the engineering, those who are orchestrating this. Create chaos for people to whine over while the slight of hand takes place. We know the tactics well if you speak out so there is no voice.
I don't have political answers and don't think there are any. They are all bought and paid for. We the people have to revolt it is war. It's crap but I think it is the only way. In most instances stuff gets settled by aggression, yes there is the pen and the sword but our pen has ran out of ink a long time ago.
As for Merkel I just think she is delivering on a grand plan. The point I was making about other Empires (British has fallen too ) is it's good fuel for the current plans. Keep telling the poor unfortunate people how those bad Westerners have subjugated half the planet and light the touchpaper. It's called a plan coming together. Only way to stop it now is overthrow governments and have a scrap. Diplomacy is costing us time we don't have.
