Hi, I am new here and I am looking for a professional grid EA with directional bias selection.
I downloaded the Flexy Grid EA and it looks very interesting. Is there a user manual or some directions on how to use it.
Thank you in advance for any replies.

Thank you for your command list. After reviewing the list I still have the following questions.
1. FG_BREAKEVEN_1_5; the 5 value mean 5 pips?
2. FG_TS_PIPS_100_200; does this mean 100 (SL) at every 200 pip increments? If 240 pips reached then SL=100 pips. If 360 pips reached then SL=100. If 450 pips reached then SL=200 pips?
3. FG_YS_50; what is YS and what is value 50?
4. FG Panel shows YS / LS=5 / 1.4; what is LS=5?. And 1.4 is probably the spread.
5. FG_RRR_pips_39_22; are these SL & TP pips accumulated pips for each open position? Example (position1 (15 pips) + pos2 (10 pips) + pos3 (5 pips) = 30 pips TP)?
6. FG_BUY GRID STYLE_AAA; this mean a signal buy order only?
7. FG_CALCULATE_(1.0943*1.618)-1.618*2.5, what does this calculate?
8. FG_LS_1_15; what is LS? Lot size?
9. “Use Lines” panel box; what does this do?
10. Can I place a trend line or horizontal line to start grid? When price penetrates line the EA starts?
11. How can I save a template of EA with all my favorite settings?

Thank you for the long questions. I appreciate that

1. 5 means, the grid will be close when the profit is equal to $X amount. In this case the X amount is $5
2. Logic is in post 1022
3. YS = your spread, or your spread threshold. If the spread jumped >5 pips, FG won't place a grid
4. LS = Live Spread of the market
5. FG_RRR_pips_39_22 that mean RISK:RATIO is 39:22. You are willing to risk losing 39 pips to gain 22 pips. Basically, 39 is the SL, 22 is the TP
6. FG_BUY GRID STYLE_AAA this mean no trade will be placed.
FG_BUY GRID STYLE_101 means BUY STOP, SELL, BUY LIMIT
FG_SELL GRID STYLE_101 means SELL LIMIT, BUY, SELL STOP

101 (from left to right)
1=The Top part of the grid
0=The middle
A=The bottom

9. Use Lines button, it will open a grid when the price crossed over certain horizontal line that has a command in its name
10. It's in the command list.
Presuming your horizontal name is Horizontal 234234234
You want to buy with 111 grid style
therefore
Horizontal 234234234_111_B
11. You just save the template just as usual

Those are nice places.

Yes I trade live and demo using FG EA and ZC indi.
I don't use the automatic mode for the FG, I trade semi automatic. I pull the trigger by pressing the buttons or use lines feature, and let the trailing stop function do its job.

Hi Yousername,

As you know I am Trading Ryan's Method I see he is using an additional filter in is Trading.

He only enters one Trade per candle so in extremely volatile conditions he is protected from multiple entries.

Could you include this filter, I am using version 1.956 because it meets all my needs apart from the volatility filter.

in FG there is a filter that allows you to trade X grid per day.
If you set to 1, it will trade once per day.
As seen in the screenshot, isn't that what you mean?

Hi Yousername,

GBP/CAD is Traded on M30 the filter would mean if a Individual M30 Candle moves more than 20 pips, against you, only one Trade would be Triggered.

Just trying out your FG EA with visual backtesting to see how it works.
Noticed that when I use this parameter

"Stop grid trading after x amount grids are closed, 0 = Infinite"

by changing it to another value besides the default value "1", it will cause the visual backtesting to be extremely slow till it is not usable. On purpose or a bug?
