The French never made nice cars. So not surprised that you don't see nice French cars. The only people with nice cars in France are big shots (higher government or very wealthy). No one else has nice cars since that is currently not a government give away.

True, but what I meant was they drive around in knackered old pieces of crap, like they can't afford anything better. Food prices have really shot up; I am wondering how they are able to afford it. Inflation was something like 0.7% and 0.8% for June and July. It could end up being about 8% for the year. They are not in a good way. How is that going to impact the Euro?!

I realized that after I started. That's why it sounds so disjointed.

I think the French are your classic SJW types who revel in owning crap and pretending it is luxurious.

I'm not sure about that but they certainly have some attitude problems, probably harping back to the Revolution days. They have developed being awkward and obstructive into an art form.
