I'm thinking that the weekly gives us the best overall view of what's going on. Price is sitting right on one of the two main fib map points, with the drop target identified by the other. My take is that there will be a small drop and test of the area below. If price breaches that then there's a good bit of room to go.

If you take it down to the H4, it's all about the short.

So, as I said, I'd be happy to take a short-term short (or a ''Claudia'' as it should be known ) from between around 1.29104 and expect a bounce at around 1.28809.

If it then turns back and breaks 1.28694 with momentum *, then I'd be targeting around the 1.28454 level.

* I would probably try and snip some pips on the potential Dead Cat Bounce there as well.

Was wearing my stubborn hat today and was determined to wait out Gold in the DZ...wasn't happening anywhere near fast enough and was paying for it by missing out on other opportunities, so ended up sniping the pips instead. Just played the bounce-and-rebound game and got it over with.



Haven't made up my mind whether to run a B*A*D trade today...Need a brew to mull it over.

More wins on Dax target hit for week.

Ended up jumping on the B*A*D, as I figured that a short was due after the last H4 candle playing long. It stalled for a bit and I was all set to take it at +4% but it then got a second wind and continued the drop. All fine-and-dandy in the end for +5%.

I threw my hat into the Gold ring today - as noted above - but I think I was out-thinking myself. I feel it was far too early to be shorting gold. Looking at the upper time-frames, I reckon we've got at least another week before there may be any kind of meaningful drop. I think it was my stubborn-hat I was wearing, lol, as I decided to go ahead with it anyway.

As told above, I got fed up waiting and simply played the short-term bounce-and-rebound that presented itself.

As for the others I stuck on my Watch-List:

AU - short - No kind of big move came, though you'd have been able to snip a handful via WZ, or more if played cw S+D on the low time-frames.
NU - short - Cleaner than AU, the +5 was there once the original move had passed but again, the overall trend settled long.
GOLD - short - See above.

OIL - long - Got an initial move long but turned abruptly and showed the long move to have been a Dead Cat Bounce.
GJ - short - You'd have had to have hung around for a while and played it as it came out of the Supply Zone but yes, it was there but no, not strictly DZ.
GN - short - Straightforward.

CJ -short - It took a couple of hours to trigger but this was the day's big-hitter. Nice.
UC - long - Mirrored CJ and it too bagged a chunk o' change.
EJ - maybe long later - Actually triggered earlier than I expected but added its own big move to the last couple.

UJ - surf - Perfect big wave.
