Her only problem was back pedaling. She should not have apologised and stuck to her words. Those who speak the truth about the perpetrators receive greater focus than the arseholes who carried out the crimes. Our country needs more than a good sort out.

Yeah I saw this too and have to say I was pretty disgusted by what I watched. Lets not mention he was there to introduce his new infrastructure plan. I could go on how this was a coordinated event in order to distract from his agenda, but I would be digressing into inciting another conspiracy theory. The media and their frenzy of ideologues really shows how their ecosystem of news speak, is just proof positive of the nature of man's willingness to lower the intelligence quota of it's species by being so predatory in its instincts, further propagating tribalism to its core tenets. Its events like these that makes despising the media even more justified, and palpable.

I grew up on the BBC, they were revered. Maybe they've always been BS artists and it just took me a long time to see it. Certainly before internet I think most people "Took It As Read", whatever the BBC said. Think we have been duped a lot longer than I thought, pretty naive on my part in younger days to think they wouldn't or couldn't succumb to being told what to publish.

I am assuming Stu that we are closer to the same age, so I pretty much know what you are talking about. I too fell victim to being put under a spell in believing what the MSM was selling when I was younger. Not to mention, top that off with Hollywood's culture memes inserted in their TV shows and movies with the intent of re-appropriation, and it furthered that foggy cloud of not seeing with clarity. Parody was life imitating art and not what it was suppose to be such as Art imitating life. All part of the post modernism paradigm!

I am afraid we are heading down a very scary slippery slope in light of what is developing within respective cultures around the world!

In my experience the BBC are relatively non-biased on domestic political issues, if they piss off the government, or would be government, they might find their license revoked in the next parliament - so they never bite the hand that feeds them too hard.

There is bias on foreign issues though, I wouldn't necessarily say always 'left' or 'right' but they pick sides and I think some of their commentary betrays their self proclaimed 'non-partisan' role.

The only thing that Trump got wrong in that conference call, or at the very least didn't fully clarify, is that he said there were some good people there marching to stop the statue coming down. The difficulty with that is that on the Friday night it was all neo-Nazi scum, so if the is talking about that night it's simply not true.
He may be talking about the next day, but again it seems like mostly neo-Nazi scum.
