close down MT4 platform and restart it. if you have any previous or other calendar versions installed , they must be removed as there is a conflict and the platform must be restarted. if this does not work.... the file error means it is tech tech problem with MT4 and calendar, try deleting all calendars then restarting MT4, then download/install into mql4/indicator file, then restart mt4 with the settings above, most common error is not ticking the DLL box and/or not restarting the platform.
Deleted everything, reinstalled and restarted every thing including the settings as instructed. Still the same.

hi, sorry i can not help then, i have listed all the problems i know of that cause a file error.

maybe someone else can help you further here.

ADDED...

just in case there is basic problem of putting the file in the wrong folder...

from the MT4 platform top select..

i didn't know what i was doing when i edited ffc. i changed it to show more events and there is a minor glitch now where at beginning and end of the week it will show doubles of events, a chart refresh will clear them. the original version is ok though so i know it has to do with how i changed the number of events but i am not a coder

The Newscal_v108a doesn't work for me either.I've tried most of thing, both daily and FF.I tried deletecacheatstart but will make your MT4 slow.Might be crushing with my other indicator or I don't know.

I use FFC instead,its way better now.
I will upload the original FFC with color impact and exclude impacts fixed version here.I changed the code from the help of:

Here is another fixed one, if anyone is interested.
It can show either FF news or Daily FX news

Edit: Today 11 Aug. FF fixed the problem with their calendar so the older versions of indicators should work again.
Therefore, I'm also attaching the previous (non fixed) version here
but I will also leave version-1 here in case the problem reappears

Thank you for all your hard work,I was wondering I have a dashboard Im using Dashboard EAX, my question is do you think that there is a way to to fix the old: High/Medium/Low new: high/medium/low problem with Dashboard EAX it see's only the old way (High/Medium/Low), since apparently the developer has stopped working on it, is it possible to make your indicator maybe with a switch or some how so that it could send the old values, is that something that is possible

FFC is fine ... I found this morning it was showing events till the EUR holiday ... Checked the .xml and the 2nd EUR Holiday was blocking ... so I removed it and everything back to normal.

I am pretty new to this calendar thread so please excuse me if any questions have been covered already. I downloaded the FFC file. Seems to work well, but I was wondering if there was a way for it to show vertical lines?
