Interesting experience my side this morning. Missed the optimal SD entry but used VSA to trade into a pullback.
Confirms my suspicion as an SD trader that VSA is more of a kind of scalp strategy. Useful in the right context though.

This is M1 so liable for some unpleasantness. B/E so not particularly concerned.

Stopped at B/E on the above, which is not surprising.
Price is essentially inside a higher TF pennant and whipsawing.
Just gonna have to wait for the market to expand a little.

I don't use volume but your entry was a valid breakout pullback entry in my book anyway, albeit late in the move and directly into S/R below...

Quick note re that chart before signing off.

The lower horizontal yellow line was an area ripe for two things:

1. A good place to move the stop on short if price broke out low
2. An area where fresh demand could print

Option 2 has occurred.

It's taken the scenic route round but my side this is the final opportunity today to see it rally.

Still wants lower. Idea for longs today has been based on D1 sitting in demand. Haven't been bothered at all to try sell it.

If you managed to get the buy on this then unless it closes above 1.3035 (Sunday D1 open) on rollover, stops should ideally now be B/E and see what happens.

Posting some follow through on this.

The first entry on that pair was at the arrow - either touch or PA confirmation. I was trading euro and missed it. Once PA made the new high around that small yellow line, buying pullbacks was reasonable my side. M15 chart offered circa 2R and opportunity to move to B/E.

Obviously price eventually rejected and Asia bore the ripest fruit of London/New York's work. Seeing this more often these days.
