Just missed for half a pip.
Why did i make those buttons close sells and close buys ?

Any news?

Nothing new. Just wanted to say that there is nothing wrong using a close button when you are in profit .
Tested the reset difference option in the menu in backtest but it seems it is not usefull as it is.
The current situation without closing manually:

I mean how is the new Ver you are testing!?

The new version 1212 does not differ much from version 12.

I did not like the above picture that it dit not close for half a pip close to a round number (50-00) being almost at 100% af the target.
So the next version has a round number code and will close in that case.

Saw that the indicator had expiry date today. This version expires 29th of nov.
Still working on a better version than the 1212 but it is not easy.

Have you considered to use ATR and Momentum to filter the trades?

You could stop the EA opening new trades when there is a spike or even make a hedge position (on your current net position) until the market settles down. Just a thought.

as it takes trades between 2300 and 600 broker there are no spikes in this time-window.
I am almost ready with a new version. But have to find the bug it shows in backtest.
I will give it extra expiration time more than the last one.

Its wise when the current version 1212 has closed all the positions (put stop after ending cycle in true)
this week before thursday to activate it again next week wednesday because of the elections.

Version PLUS but all the plus off in default. The expire date is 29th of november.



When reached 95% of the Target it will close at breakeven or max +10% of the Target if the price comes back.
Test yourself if other numbers are better.

Use_Round_Numbers will close all if Target is more than 95% reached and a number like 00 or 50 is nearby.

The above version has a bug in the break even code, nothing dangerous but it did not work, corrected i hope.

When it did act it can be seen in the Journal.


In a next version i will also print the tma values of the easy indicator to the Journal as i already have done in test versions.

This is the same backtest but with the break even in true.
$40 less profit but $75 less drawdown.
Default numbers (0.95 and 0.1) so now its time to think and try some.

Closed the 0.15 lot long position of the robot manually at 1.1046 for $97.65 and did put the robot in only short.
This is what is still open. Could have closed the 0.10 position too for netto zero result. Worth a thought.
It would have kept the short 0.05 lot at the price of 1.08916.

Its in hedge again, trend is to strong.

EURUSD 15mins TF backtest result from jan.2017 to july.2017

The easy-indicator tries to predict the trend.

If you think that you are better in predicting the trend and you want to go for only sell you put the TMA at 25.0 and Allow Buy in false.
For only buy you put the TMA also at 25.0 but Allow Sell in false.

Anyway i myself do not try to predict the trend and leave the work to the indicator.

What i do is that i leave the opening of the trades for the robot and then close them manually mostley.

The first trade closes auto with 50 pips in profit but when i see i looks impossible i try to close with 30 pips or less.
I then put the tp price manually for 30 pips in the metatrader and when i see that is not going to be it either i close in profit for less like yesterday
when it openend a long at 1.1742.

In fxjunction look for droad you can see what i have been doing till now as its all in visible mode.
