I've heard/read similar story on this. It is often said PUS is one the most powerful positions in the world but what seems to be clear over these recent months is that it is a toothless tiger and illustrates the point that the show is still run by a higher force. I'm not fully understanding of their political processes but I expected TRUMP to have had more clout and the book stop with him. It seems he can make decisions but ultimately they still have to be cleared by the real PTB. I don't know what could happen if he uses his role as commander in chief ? Can he then just override all this bullshit and crack on with draining the swamp unhindered by political process ? Not expecting you to reply MAG just thought I'd ask the question for our US friends to shed some light.

Yes someone spoke up and the new VP shut them down and says looking forward to hearing more of your ideas but sticking with the Google plan ultimately. Is how I interpreted that. A story to watch for sure.
