Thanks for the question. I do believe you are right about the trader agent software closing all trades at 500 total pips instead when each trade hits 500 pips. Still, I'm not completely sure about this. The main reason I recommended this software was because it easily allows traders to grid trade without needing to be in front of their screen all day. I recommend placing a manual SL on each of your trades.

Makes sense, thanks. Another solution would be using another ea to put those SLosses, no problem.

I've been using this strategy for about 6 weeks now (2 weeks demo and 4 weeks live) and i'm up about 40%. I've used little bit too high lots, with 1k account 0.03-0.05 lots, but i'm willing to live with the risk and in the future i'll reduce it if i reach my goals. I do everything manually and with two different platforms, MT4 where the indicators are and execute orders with cTrader. I find that ctrader is faster and much smoother with everything. I personally believe that i'll learn much more when doing everything manually and watching the charts than relying only on EA.

I've been using different TP amount than 50pips for the most pairs. GBPCAD something like 35-50pips, EG 25-35pips, NZDCAD 30-40pips etc. I like it more this way that i'll get out of trades sooner more often and i can start watching new opportunities from other pairs when there is less change that the price reverses again to wrong direction before hitting my TP.

BTW my scalping has gotten a lot better since i've watched cubbybegood's videos (twice). I've been implementing many things to my scalping strategies and almost half of my profits last month was from scalping.

Lets hope this strategy works many years to come and we can all profit from it. I'm very greatful that you shared and are sharing your knowledge with us here in FF.

My earlier videos were really long because I was streaming a lot for ForexSignals. I wouldn't watch my really old videos. Just start on the one that was first posted here on this thread. I think that's a good place to start. Some streams on my channel that lasted 1-2 hours but I did take live trades in many of them.

Yes, I do have a lot of content lol. I'm trying to make my video's shorter now. No more than an hour. I would like to keep them even shorter at 30 minutes. Something I'm aiming to do more of in the future.

I'm happy to here that my videos are helping you in more than one area of your trading. That was my hope when creating them. Kind of your one stop shop to REAL trading if you will.

The technique and ideas I bring to the table typically have multiple uses in multiple strategies. They should be universal.

I keep my EA usually running during announced, expected news. Exeptions may only be extraordinary events like Brexit or elections. The more dangerous news, which lead to sudden price movements, are the unexpected ones (like the "black swan" on CHF at beginning of 2015).

As I'm ironing out the kinks of TaderAgent and this methodology;

Is it a 500 pip SL per entry that would close out each individual entry as they hit 500 pips?
-or-
SL to close all trades when 500 pips are reached in total on all Grid Entries?

I'm assuming 500pip SL total on all grid entries.

Here's a quick&dirty calculation of what your DD, SL and used margin can look like.
Inputs only in the blueish fields.
