No, I think culturally we are more European. I find Americans rather fake, forever telling me to have a nice day when I am thinking sod off. I find the blind persistence to talk to me irritatating. Germans are simply weird, which is fine too because I ignore them. Also I think Europeans see Brits as psychos, which is rather a nice reputation to have.

This is a perfect example of the Post Modern paradigm. The Frankfurt school is one such institution that sought to undermine moral values associated with the west. Everything from language, religion, art, architecture, to history, everything has been compromised on the alter of "Post Modernism"!

Then in that case you should appreciate New Yorkers then. Not the liberal snot flakes but the ones who tell it like it is and are not politically correct.

Well just to be fair, some from the south are not slow witted, but just have a different style of speech pattern. Southern Charm is always something I find endearing. If I were living during the civil war, I wouldn't have been pro slavery, but I certainly would have been pro south as that war was not fought over slavery as many of the revisionists would have you believe, but over state rights and commerce. I never thought much of Lincoln who by and large was the biggest war monger and biggest corporate welfare contributor than any other president in US history!
