On the subject of Truth, how history might view it, and who's version of history is the one writ for generations to come, I suspect if Germany had won WW2 and successfully invaded Britain, formed a truce with Russia and retained control of the east European buffer states, in other words been in complete control of something that would look much like the EU today, maybe the holocaust would have been reported as

"The Jewish question has been subjected to a 'final solution' thanks to the efficient and rigorous efforts of our Brave Soldiers of the SS. Never again will the scourge of Zion hold to ransom the citizens of the Glorious Third Reich. Heil etc....."

I'm sure that is how it would have been referred to, rather like a cross between calling in the pest controller and a glorious military victory.

On another Ironic note, look at the EU today. A small, very select group in 4 or 5 key positions controlling everything. Plus ça change...
