Upcoming update

FG retrieves the BETTER/WORSE span class of FF's calendar website.
There will be update to the JAR file and the EA

Result: Red = Worse, Green = Better, White = same as expected
Sometime FF doesn't mark Better/Worse to some calendar hence some of the result stays white when the result is better/worse as you can see in the video.

The indicator is a mini chart with candles.

My strategy is to catch volatility spike in M1 timeframe for trading 15 m trend trending with a small pip target for a high daily range pair like GBPJPY.
I would load on GBPJPY chart, 8 times the indicator -each for different symbol to catch the momentum volatility.

For GBPJPY main chart, I would download the indy 8 times each with different symbols connected with GBP - GBPUSD, GBPEUR (mirrored), GBPAUD, GBPNZD, GBPCAD, GBPCHF, USDJPY, EURJPY and make it a matrix to detect alignment of atleast four symbols prices moving in same direction. This is purely price action.

I have loaded 8 indicators and made a matrix just for visualization for me to manually detect signal - xxxx pair symbols moving in same direction.

This kind of visualization is not needed for EA to produce signal.

The signal is produced by comparing direction of prices moving in M1 timeframe on chosen symbols The input for choosing symbols should be provided. If four or more symbols are confirmed moving in same direction (say Buy/sell) then EA set up on GBPJPY chart should set up buy/sell grid with TP of 15 or xxx pips and SL of xxx pips.
Filters should not be provided except for controlling frequency of signals.

If you can compare prices moving in seconds timeframe, (which I am told MT5 can facilitate) it will be excellent.

Instead of EA providing inputs for selection of symbols to compare and TF, an indicator could be made for this inputting job and loaded on the pair chart to be traded (in my example it would be GBPJPY) and signal produced by this indicator by way of alert should drive the EA.

But that might be impossible because it means that FG must be attached to all Pairs for it to execute an order based on FF Calendar news

Automatically it won't be able to do in the short term.
Perhaps by next month you will be able to execute a grid using a new FG command.
For instance you will be able to tell FG to execute a grid when a particular news result is > or >= than the actual and previous result.
For now i'm trying to get most data out off FF to be displayed on the monitor.

For instance if you trade EURUSD, it's possible to automate FG to use news that is related to EUR and USD.
If it's EURJPY, then FG will use news that is related to EUR and JPY.
basically split the instrument name into 2 currencies (EURUSD = EUR and USD) and find available calendar about those 2 currencies.

Ok that would be super awesome!

There's something I still need to do and I need to go back to the thread and find something that you wrote about making trading decision based on the FF calender. Looking at the estimated impact and the previous impact. I remember reading something like that.

The first time I just read the whole thread without using mt4, so now I need to try some of the strategies that were provided. Some of the guys even provided an indicator to help with making the decision. Still have a lot to do, to improve my trading skills. I may need your help every now and then...

You also mentioned that you made a lot of money in trading, what strategies did you use, if you don't mind sharing?

I use news before pulling the trigger.
I also use my own custom indicator zigcharm in order to know the trend, divergence/hidden divergence, pullback, breakout, Elliot wave.
I also use volume with candle stick patterns 2 or 3 candlestick formations.

That's all. I use them all before pulling the trigger.

Do you or someone else tried this EA (manual trading) with CFD ? of course market is now closed but i cannot changed the value in the expand info using cfd, but for forex it look good ..? as you can see on screenshot below.

If you change the expand info attributes using the FG command, it won't be reflected to the EA's properties.

latest fix.

1. Bank Holiday colored was black. Now calendar holiday will be highlighted to white color
2. Array problem with the news

You have to download all the files else you will have problem when viewing the economic calendar.

No i did not use FG command yet, just change inside the expert property... something wrong with cfd may be ?

Yes when you change it from the Expert Property, it won't be reflected onto FG.
You have to use FG command.

There was a known problem when using FG in the MT4.
Whenever you click a button in the chart, it doesn't reflect the changes to the Expert property.
This issue has been posted in this thread. You have to look for it.
Because of that whenever you restart the MT4/change template, the property will revert back to default.
FG command solved that, it has its own way to remember the settings or in other word it has autosave feature.
So when ever to change setting, FG will autosave it immediately. That mean you don't have to worry losing your EA setting when your VPS/PC got rebooted or shutdown. This is a common issue to many EAs. It lost its setting when the VPS got rebooted.

Thank you for answer yousername, i'm still reading since yersterday, actually page 19, will be ready for tomorow
I tried with Text and FG command and that's perfect, as this EA cannot be backtested i will try on demo with Asia session tomorow and if there is no problem will be ready for London open i will post feedback, thanks again for your effort
