One other thing I would like to know. How does the TS work? Is it instant/from start or does it start at some set level? And by how much does it trail etc?

Trailing Stop works from the point when you are firstly 5% in profit and trails the current price by the value of the Stop Loss and is recalculated every 5% increase in profit.

Thanks Dave.

I have mainly been using the CCI EA and every now and then the TP setting disappears after the orders have been set. Just reverts to 0. Does not happen with the other EAs I am running on the platform so not a platform issue. Any idea as to what may cause this? No error or journal message to explain why this is happening.

Can't see any problem in the code.

Are you sure you are not using the same Magic Number?

Definitely not. But not using your numbering system anymore. Which should not matter? Still a 6 digit unique number. Hopefully does not happen again.

Same is now happening with the RSI EA on M1. Has happened on MT4 being restarted, after connection lost, as shown in attached. Is that what is causing this? But does not happen with other EAs I am running.

If you restart MT4, that will be the cause because all the values of the variables are lost. I will have a look at the code to see what can be done.

EDIT:
After
if (OrderProfit() > CurrProfitTarget && OrderStopLoss() != 0)

{


Add these 2 lines

if (OrderType() == OP_BUY) TakeProfitPrice = OrderOpenPrice() + (TakeProfit * PointValue);
if (OrderType() == OP_SELL) TakeProfitPrice = OrderOpenPrice() - (TakeProfit * PointValue);


Change the folllowing line

CurrProfitTarget = CurrProfitTarget + (WagerLots * 10 * 5);

to

CurrProfitTarget = OrderProfit() + (WagerLots * 10 * 5);


and then recompile

Oops. I missed the next update, versions dated 13 April, sent on 16 April . So all good. Thanks.
Some time ago I started an experiment with these EAs (CCI and PSAR only) on H1 comparing a once only optimisation over the previous year vs re-optimising every month on past 3 months tick data, 99.9% modelling.
The once only annual optimisation has worked better over the past 4 months but these tests were run as a portfolio and used the original versions in which wager increase was based on drop in account equity rather than what we have now, which is based on previous losing trade, EA specific.
Anyway, I have since added a time filter to the EA, and based on back test only at this stage and only for CCI, time of trading makes quite a difference.
In the 2016 tick data optimisation, AU performs best when Tuesdays are excluded; UJ works best when Wed and Thurs are excluded; and GU works best when London session and all of Friday are excluded.
Given this testing was for 260 trading days and hence includes 52 Tuesdays etc, hopefully that is enough data to make the test results statistically significant. We'll see.

The four EA's are still supported and are completely independant of AgilityTrader3 and can be backtested and optimized using the normal MT4 backtesting facility.
