FYI, you can trade without having a grid.
If you don't want to trade with grid, you can set the GRID SIZE to 0 and set the GRID STYLE to either 111 or 110 because when using 110 Grid Style, the center of its grid is sell when you buy and buy when you sell. But for 111 and 110, the center of it is Buy when you place a buy grid, sell when you place a sell grid.
I hope you know what i mean.

Now consider the possibility with the FG COMMAND + your indicator.
You control the signal, trade and money management with command line.
There's no need to re-code complicated stuff like breakeven, trailling stop, R:R ratio, take profit etc.
All you have to do is setup FG parameters and place grid/order accordingly and through FG command only you can make it possible.

Presuming the EA is already in the MT4.
Then you have to drag and drop the EA into the chart.
Then read through the input variables. I have made the input easier to understand for users.

Since the update of the MT4 platform past build 600, there is now a new directory for installing your files. Previously you would simply need to install the file into the “experts” folder which is no longer the case.

1. To install your EA / Indicator, first please open your MT4 platform and select file in the top left hand corner.
2. You will then see an option to “Open Data Folder” – Please select this. Once this has been selected, the platform will direct you to a folder named MQL4.
The location may not be directly into the Metatrader 4 folder but a different location.
3. Please then open the MQL4 folder and paste your respective EA / Indicator files into their respective folders and re-load the platform.

It would be interesting to see if FG could be incorporated to work with the RMI Indicator.

I was inspired to investigate this Method of Trading after reading this thread https://www.forexfactory.com/showthread.php?t=641014 by Cubbybgood.

if(overbought AND (bearish engulfing OR Bearish Inside Candle))
FG_SELL

if(oversold AND (bullish engulfing OR Bullish Inside Candle))
FG_BUY

Is the signal only based on those conditions?

See what you think, it's the first time I've ventured into the world of Grid Trading; I can certainly see the benefits of it as long as you are cautious with Money Management don't get greedy and stick to your rules.

Hi Yousername,

You are looking for the Candles before the Engulfing or Inside Candle to be the Opposite Colour.

The best place for a setup to occur is around Whole and Half Numbers but this is not essential.

yes it's a 2 candlestick formation.
Harami, Dark cloud, Piercing pattern, Engulfing

Basically the system looks for either one of the two candlestick formation patterns and the pattern should appear when RMI is overbought/oversold right?

Mate I figure out scenario to use grid 111 & 110 care to share your experience when you use grid 101
E.g. 111 can be use on key levels S/D another e.g. 110 can be use say on daily open or pivot lines. How would you use GRID 101?
