Same instrument (EUR/USD)
Same time.
Separate MT4 windows if possible.
No mix for Show Trade Levels (each window shows only its current grid trading/pending levels) ...if posible

a little correction, from what i just said it can be smth like that at some point:

...the idea is that i want to mke it possible to have 2 independent grids on the same instrument in the same time

Also tested if you have the ea running on a chart (eu) open another chart (eu) and enter the same ea all previous position will close

I wonder how did you get that kind of idea? (I don't think it's bad/good)

I thought the player can win on both grids if range market ...because the relative shift of the swing of the trade zone when using TP/SL
But I was wrong.
It's possible indeed to have both grids as winners ...but I reanalysed and just realised that is also the same probability to have them both for a loser
So, no big deal.
Sorry bothering you for nothing
(about the idea, yeah, yeah, I saw the thread posts above, ... of course everybody wants to hedge successfuly )

I guess you should be able to do it manually when using 2 EA with different MAGIC NUMBER and same INSTRUMENT and different CHART WINDOW.
Maybe you should try that on a demo account?

Yes it should close the grid if both EA has the same MAGIC NUMBER.

Can I change the magic number to run say 2-3 entries grid on same pair different chart?

Yousername,

The input Grid style set to 111 & when press "111" button the EA Grid style panel will show & stay at "111" but when restart MT4, the Grid style on EA panel will revert to "101". I need to press the "111" button again. Can it stay at last selected grid which is "111" when I restart the MT4 again? Thanks

Well if the MT4 gets rebooted. The data in the RAM is gone.
So if you want to have a feature like windows sleep/hibernate where when you set it to sleep and login again, you see the same setting as before it put to sleep/hibernate...
Then.... it gets complicated. I need to have a database or have some kind of file to store the last setting. And the MQL4 should have some kind of a function that can detect whether the MT4 is closed because of system error or human error. But I don't think such exist. If it does, then we could work it out on version 1.1.0
But I don't think I'm gonna do it shortly. It's irrelevant to the trading system.

Mate, I think you need a bigger monitor.
The Buy and Sell grid buttons overlap the DATA WINDOW.
I think in version 1.9, I should have a hide/show switch button in order to hide the DATA WINDOW

Thanks for your reply. For my case, sometime I will just close the MT4 program if I am not doing any trade. Anyway, it is ok. I can just press the "111" button again when I open MT4 the next time. Thanks
