I'm not a coder or even close, but I thought this might be simple. I opened the indicator from post 1 TMA + CG mladen in mq4 format and replaced all the instances of tma with tmatrue. When I compiled it, I got a bunch of error messages. I am totally clueless with this stuff. Maybe someone more talented can take a look at this.

Looks like all pairs are riding the middle band of the true tma right now on the 5min chart.

And the NZD have taken a nose dive.
So all nzd pairs are out of the band but don't trade them.

I like your idea of using the combination. What are your settings for TrueTMA? My bands seem quite a bit wider than yours.

how can i apply these downloads? and if you dont mind can you explain the strat of this juts in case i cant install the EA? I actually do use Bands and MacD and MA, but it seems like yours are set to different numbers to report info they way yours is showing. Its not just trading touches on regular 1M Bands right?

If MA BBands don't repaint then we have the holy grail of indicators LOL. just put it on a chart and every ones a winner...has to be a repainter.

guys stop going on about repaint, the holy grail dont exist as kraven said so do the best job with the best tools you can to get an edge. the bands are just flexible standard deviation bands and when price extends outside them it provides a trading opportunity but only with current momentum. 1 min charts can get choppy so keep track of other timeframes.

if my yellow ma is under the green i take short if above then longs, retraces to bands with nice clean break needed then wait for your trend continuation candle to get in. if you dont need to use the ma's or the macd and just do PA then use the bands for pullbacks in where you think assets are going, simples. these 5 min charts show very clear entries that DID NOT REPAINT!!!!! if your concerned they repaint then adjust the bands to be wider and take less trades simples.....

I know they repaint its just someone said they don't.

But it looks like the arrows don't repaint because I see a down arrow on top of another down arrow and vice versa for up arrows.

So I really don't need the bands than. I can just trade the arrows with fibs.

I will have to manual test it

Hi there djms,
I have added popup alerts for the MA_BBands and also changed the TMA+CG to place the arrows at the right place and show the period in the alert message.

For both I added an option called "Front_to_chart". What it does is : when you have an alert, it will bring the chart to front of the others. So if you have, for example, 5 charts opened at full screen, the one that alerts will be brought to front.

Any problem with them please tell me as I didnt have the time to test.

EDIT.: reuploaded the TMA. forgot something in the code.

Indeed, this is a lot of screen staring. How long is a typical session for you with this strategy? I'm in a unique situation where I work the night shift (in US) and remote into my PC at home to trade and I was watching this for at least 7 hours waiting for opportunities. Are you spending this much time watching?

Also, adding the 50 T3 is brilliant. I'm very happy I found this thread as a new trader. Cheers!

On your chart just add (2) T3 Clean indicators. On inputs tab make sure T3 period value is set to 50 for yellow and then modify the other on the chart for a period of 240 for green.
