I believe that the switch to Propane (why would they use Pentane??) has been caused by the CFC panic. Ok, they have fixed the hole in the Ozone layer but that was probably down to car paint. They should go back to R134a or similar for the refrigerant ... which is at least not easily flammable.

Don't know mate but think that (R134a) has been used in vehicle air con throughout ? So don't understand the big deal about fridges.

WOW - that didn't take long - in the vid Lauren mentions Unicorn Media as funding Antifa - Unicorn Media was founded by a William Rinehart.

Rinehart is the Americanized spelling of the German surname Reinhardt. The Reinhardt surname is of pre 7th century Germanic origins. It is a German and ****** surname that comes from a male personal name Raginhard, composed of the elements ragin, meaning counsel, with hard, hardy, brave, strong.

Exactly. Car aircon units don't end up in a ditch somewhere, or more particularly abandoned in a tip where the refrigerant is not recovered. Car air con is (supposed to be) evacuated and the gases recovered before the scrapping process continues.

The fridge, by contrast, ends up in a tip and the gases eventually just escape, so the refrigerant was changed to something 'user friendly' .... such as propane (sic)
