Went short YM @21470
Against the expectation of a NSH.
At long term structure area, strong bearish reaction on second touch of the area.
SL just above the resistance area @21498
TP could be potentially large.
So I figured R:R is good.
But against expectation, so probability of success is lower.
Still worth it in my opinion. The potential large reward compensates for the lower probability of success.

Anyone agree/disagree?

Yes, it can only trade with small contract unless we see price break the previous low of short term order flow.

Unfortunately I missed the big move because I had to leave.
With the right timing and when taken for the right reasons and in the right area I believe it can be very rewarding to trade against the orderflow. Occasionally of course. My main focus remains to trade in line with orderflow.

I also think you have a higher probability of success if you make sure that the previous low/high is broken in the immediate/short term order flow.

yesterday 3 Jul marks the 1st day of me going live and now going to use this thread to keep track of my perfomance.

8:30pm SGT YM: Expectation NSH / Result: +0 - no retracement and price just shoots like a train with no potential entry
9:00pm SGT NQ: Expectation NSH / Result: +28 - priced retraced back to 61.8 and decided to take the first rotation candle. - got taken out at Fib 38.2 level
