Thx to all the people reacting to my post! Regarding this trade: it its like you mentioned Atk, I followed a process, made an assessment of the risk and decided to take the trade. A trader can never win all the time, actually in order to win overall you need to lose sometimes :-)
So i mainly wanted to know if you think I took the right steps by shorting.
I have been applying SAD to my trading for 8 months now, the first 4 months with tremendous success (>75% win rate on 1:1 RR) but the last 4 months BE or with slight losses.
My opinion is that the trend on a lot of pairs is changing...where before most of them were trending downwards and I was shoring them, now they are going upwards and I am still shorting them...
Maybe the lesson here is that even if we take each pair apart and analyse them on different timeframes , we should not forget the keep in mind the broader trend on weekly/monthly charts and the slow evolution they are going through.

Hello! I'm writing as I was trying to move to lower TF but I found myself with a doubt which I think has been previously asked around here. Did you realize on the H4 charts depending on the server TF not every broker offers the same 4H chart as they do it some of them 00-04 04-08 08-12 12-16-16-20 20-00 and some others 01-05 05-09 etc.

There fore the supply and demand zones drawn are not the same on the different brokers, which solution do you apply? do you base on 09-13 or 08-12?

Thank you very much for your advice.
Had a couple losses and just one win, and many negative floating. Feeling that I'm out of the zone already. Just wanna test out what I do is right or not. Perhaps I'll just post more for more opinions.

Indeed... That confuses alot. SaD zones could be quite different depending on broker's time. How to consider this? Anybody knows?

If i may, i tend not to deviate from what information i get from my broker
Your broker is your trading provider in forex which as you know, has no centralized exchange.
So, since there is no centralized exchange, data feeds will defer even if slightly.
So for the forex market, i go with the information i have. I go with reputable and decent sized brokers and don't concern myself with the rest.

I am not saying that was NOT a zone to short at.
It is.

I only would not sell with Set and Forget (but Confirmation) and I would also ask myself "where to put a really protective stop".

Having been trapped so many times in that kind of things I would now rather tend to consider my stop at a main structure point, not just above the level.

But that's just my own conservative opinion.

Can I put my two cents in on the Cable?

First off, I'm a newbie who blew up my account every month for the past four months. Lol

Secondly, I only discovered s/d trading four weeks ago. Since learning about s/d trading from Sam Seiden's free videos, I was in my first three weeks of profit, after three months of no more than a single day of profit.

Thirdly, after three weeks of profit, I blew up my account, chasing price and trying to short the cable, the fiber, and other related pairs. Lol

So, basically, I'm saying, I have no credentials ha ha

But, after losing my shirt this week, I discovered this thread two days ago, I read the first four pages, and then watched about 8 or 9 hours of Michael's videos on YouTube.

Here is my take on the pound/dollar and also the eurusd. And kiwi for that matter.

i clicked on a random video in Michael's video list and the first thing he said that stuck out to me in that video was that the first thing he checks is the Dollar index. So, I paused the video and looked it up. I didn't even know the Dollar had its own index. Again, I'm a newbie. Four months ago, I was trying to Google "4X" to figure out what the heck somebody was talking about. I thought it was the latest Facebook marketing program (that was the original topic-I'm into marketing because I'm a self-employed artist).

This is what the Dollar index looked like at the end of last week:

That's a strong rally on the greenback and I think the first rule of supply and demand is "never buy after a rally"?

So, that was a lesson to me as the Dollar continued to retrace the past five days, which, of course, is inversely related to the sharp rally in the Dollar pairs, which I was aggressively trying to short (going long on the Dollar).

Hi, everybody. I agree with Nojak and isaacpeh. It is necessary to consider that the price reacted at the weekly demand zone. The day area supply is not suitable to enter against the weekly demand. There is no fresh weekly area supply.
