Hey guys, I have a question regarding the WOW Trade:

Which of these Demand Zones marked with circles causes the break of the descending Trendline?
Circle 1 or Circle 2?

Since Circle 1 couldn't make a Full Candle above the Trendline I'd go with Circle 2. Am I correct?

EUR/NZD. Tho this trade would be breaking all the rules here , let's just see how powerful gaps as inbalence really are MN/WK Broken descending TL WK/D1/H4 Gap. Personally not gonna try that area but will keep a lookout on how it reacts. (pretty well in FT3) H4: {image} D1: {image} WK: {image} Cheers, Isaac

Just an updated on EUR/NZD. Price seems to be bouncing from unfilled gap Demand zones on the H4 nested withing the D1/WK.
Some longs may happen if WK DZ continues to hold

Hey Isaac,

Given w1 d1 4h combo,

1. The level is not an objective sz
2. Location is too low on the curve

Cheers!

My buy limit somehow got triggered a while ago. Now I'm 125+ pips up. Not to boast, but i did not expect price to reach my buy limit today. I was expecting like 2 more days like that.

Somehow around london open, surge of liquidity was in pushing price lower, allowing the institutions to trigger their long orders and pushed price higher. EURNZD has rose 0.25% today.
i just want to make 10% gain a month.

Dear Alfonso.
Could you possibly tell me why this short trade did not work?
GBP/USD.

  1. MN/WK supply in in control
  2. H4 SZ nested within D1 SZ
  3. Entry on D1 DZ proximal line. SL on H4 Distal line. (10pips wiggle)

The WK blue supply did not accomplish anything, therefore it's not a zone.

Dear Alfonso,

The USDCAD appears to be in an uptrend on monthly. The weekly and daily are on a downtrend. Price is approaching a demand zone on weekly and daily. I'm looking to go long somewhere in green area on weekly and daily. Can you tell me if I'm reading this setup correctly? Is this a good level to go long?

Thank you

You have to be aware that Monthly supply is in control. But since there's the monthly up trendline as a confluence, I believe it's best to wait for confirmation on the WK and D1 time frames before going long.

Cheers,
Isaac

It's read incorrectly, monthly is not in an uptrend since one monthly demand level has been eliminated.
Cheers,
Alfonso

{quote} Nojak, be VERY careful about correlation, it does not work always, it actually doesn't work most of the time. If Gold and AUDUSD were so highly correlated the charts would be very similar, but they are not. Be very careful with that. Trading is very difficult, it will be even more difficult if you start adding parameters you can't control like correlation, I personally don't take correlation into consideration. if there is a great level of imbalance that rules allow me to take I will ALWAYS trade it no matter how correlated it is with another...

Hey Isaac,

What I'm saying is there're some pieces of the skillset that are beyond the scope of this thread. In dealing with this type of scenario, we apply microscoping technique in order to have a magnified picture of the imbalance real time. I like keeping it simple, hence those observations in post 8604 which are enough to keep you out of loosing trades.

An easier trade is to wait for price to drop to an objective dz and go long as shown in the screenshot below:

Cheers!
