That's a good summary J. of what is discussed so far, although you missed the volume component.

As for indicators/scripts/experts, so far I am trying to put these a side until the method is proved with naked charts, this is what I've been doing since June 1.

There is still a "human" component (sixth sense, maybe ?) that I could not put into code yet.
I am not sure if it can ever be put into code. That would be my life project.

The tricky part is when to consider a retrace is over, that's where you might use volume, Stoch, HA ... etc.
However I "feel" somehow safe buying above DO, and selling below DO.

We saw how U/J retraced from DH @ 111.728 to 111.357 (above DO @ 111.136), and then continued up breaking DH and making new DH @ 111.946 (almost 60 pips move).

Now, tell me who dared to buy around 111.357 ?.
Well, I did, but I exited quickly when in profit, as per the scope of this system, where we accumulate repetitive small profits to reach our DT.

Tried sneaking some in a few on USDJPY, based on my logic's due to being at work and away from charts. With my limited knowledge my auto has done well taking them just as i would. This needs some fine tuning but it fits my likes.

I realized that you didn't go for much pips K.A. the real definition of scalping. I will implement same once on ECN broker some 3-5 pips per entry.

I hope it makes sense, i was looking on pinbars, doji's, Engulfing bars after the dips for this bias to the long side.

Dear abokwaik found this indicator on Google maybe you can help enhance this (it gives price from DO)
Settings:

  1. Method — selection of the calculation method (opening-closing or high-low).
  2. Number of buttons — the number of currency buttons displayed.
  3. Pressing the MODE button changes the sorting mode to "ascending/descending".
  4. To exclude a pair from the calculation it should be removed from the "Market Watch" window.

IMPORTANT:

  1. Response to pressing the MODE button happens with a delay (the code is heavy).
  2. The maximum number of pairs to calculate — 50 (in code #define LINES 50).
