I wouldn't call it an IQ debate however to answer your question, it basically means in a worn out pot (almost all politicians in the UK...old without any life experience) to which is simmering (slow, bubbling, slow cooking) on the far left (left wing or right wing - politics)

Einstein's theory of general relativity is actually proven and without it, much of the technology we use today would be useless.

The fabric of the universe is space, time and the speed of light. The speed of light is a constant, which means that time has to be a variable. Space and time is warped by gravity and motion. In a black hole there is no time. Back to my original point of general relativity: gravity is simply a mass exerting a force onto another mass, for example, the moon in orbit around the earth. With gravity, there is time dilation. That is where Einstein's equations come in. The satellites we put up in orbit have to use those equations to adjust for that time dilation because of the difference in earth's gravitational pull. The GPS in your car uses exactly that. Do you think Einstein's theory of relativity is still unnecessary? Without Einstein, we would not be using any satellite technology.

Just because you cannot see it, cannot imagine it or perhaps cannot understand it, does not mean it doesn't exist. You can see we're on earth and the sun is our star and there are other planets in our solar system. Is that it? Our sun is one of 500 billion stars in our galaxy of the Milky Way and many of those stars will have exoplanets. The Milky Way is one of 2 to 4 trillion galaxies in our universe, which is expanding at the speed of light. There could be infinite universes, called multiverses.

The lecture in this video is really my sort of thing. Towards the end Prof Brian Cox talks about Einstein and explains quite succinctly about relativity. You cannot make a lame claim then say you don't want to go there. I am countering with pure and proven facts.

You are right about that! It explains why Benghazi and the ensuing investigations never produced any accountability, or for that matter charges for who was responsible. Don't get me started on that one, for that would take an entire new post just to rant my misgivings in what I think really happened. To this day, Obama never answered where he was during those 13 deadly hours.

Lockheed Martin comes to mind with the F35 over budgeted fleecing of the tax payers project. I for one know this intimately the attitudes in which this industry's mentality works. They look at contracts for 20+ years getting fat on the dime, with out one thought the cost to the tax payers, and staying within a reasonable budget. Trump is trying to put a stop to that. Then again it is why the swamp exists, they get the kickbacks in the form of special interests and the same with the Pharma and insurance companies. Which is a big reason a comprehensive health care bill can't get done. It really is sickening when you look at it intimately, and understand the motives behind the scenes maneuvers going on with the politicians who want nothing but to play obstructionists to protect their own interests. Doesn't matter which party either, Repubs, democrats, they all belong to the same country club and play for the same team!

Yeah in some aspects this article is spot on in terms of US military interventionism, but dead wrong in terms of it's capability. Much of it's disadvantages was purposely compromised by Obama and his minions. Most of Obama's policies when involving the Military was conceived of and written by John Podesta when he was heading the center for American progress. In Arron Kleins book titled "Fool Me Twice, talks about this which was released well before a lot of what he talked about actually happened. Obama's orchestrated Lessening of America's footprint in the world was one aspect in which focused on reducing the US Military capability and decimating it's annual budget. Trump vowed to fix it, and certainly the Fitzgerald fiasco will no doubt go down as something of a bellwether warning to make immediate changes in all branches of the US military to upgrade its combat readiness. Although the way things are going, it may be too late to catch up as the bureaucratic foggybottoms will no doubt move like snail mail that will take years to undo. I hope I am wrong, but knowing these things, change is slow!
