Manually deleting them does not help. It doesn't change bars open/close times!!! You need to change broker or you need to find proper daily charts and use them for charting and then place trades on the charts of your current broker if you do not plan to change broker.

If a valid Quad Pattern appears several days later in a similar zone then it should be assessed on its own merits and can be traded.

In the case where the 2nd Quad Pattern for a short setup completes at a lower price level be aware of where your stop would be placed and the reward to risk ratio.

Also understand that price often retests the key resistance levels so price may break up higher and take out your stop loss if you have it tucked up just above current Quad level instead of above the key resistance level.

This is one reason to always consider the R:r including waiting to get into the trade at a higher price looking for a better priced short in this case.

If price does not head up but rather accelerates downwards and you miss the trade do not worry as there will be many other opportunities.

Long Quad setups apply similar to above but refer to support and operate opposite to a short Quad obviously.

Thats quite a distance down to the 4/8 MML as a projected TP.

Might be best to settle on a much smaller TP but anything can happen with the GBP under recent Brexit and Political uncertainty.

Factor in the risk (which may not be that easy to factor in actually).

ps. a stop above the MN high would be close to 370 pips from current price ...

Do you think the strategy can be applied also to the DJ30?
If so, maybe a good pattern is forming

You have highlighted the trades from the O/B & O/S areas, so I decided to take one on from smack bang in the middle of the Octave with the purpose of drawing some comments, we will have to see what sort of ride I get but thought it would be a useful exercise

Looks like you waited for weakness to be shown by the bears and entered with the expectation of getting into the long side after that pullback.

Where is your SL (around 83.500 or deeper) and where is your TP that you are shooting towards?

Is your immediate TP up closer to the 6/8 or 7/8 MML?

If the bulls get in on your trade it will look good because basically it looks like you waited for price to pullback into the 4/8 pivot and then went long.

Its also in a zone where previous resistance has now become support ... if the support level actually holds.

It seems forming a quad pattern, but it shows a new high that broke up a resistance made by a double high. It means that now the price could retest the last resistance ( now support ) and go long. Also the spike that is forming, in my opinion, can indicate long ( of course we are talking of a daily chart, so we should wait the close of the candle ). I personally would not trade this pair at this time

Thanks for the comments guys, to be honest have not got a target in mind yet because it as lots of tough work to do on the upside, only have a mental stop at the moment, just have a look at the Monthly ? Weekly worth a look as well ?

Nice pullback up into the 4/8 MML on the entry D1 candle.

Far better price to short now compared to the close of Quad Candle 4.

Who will short this pair ?

Stop size roughly halved so in money terms how much would it cost to play ?

A SL just above the 5/8 MML is about 150 pips from current price so about $150 per mini lot (0.1 lots) or $1500 per lot.
