Hi,
I have a quick question about swap costs.
If I google it, incurring a swap cost is generally described as 'holding a position overnight'.
Just wondering if this falls under certain hours.
Say if you enter a trade at 9am and exit at 4.30pm then no swap.
What if you enter at 5am and exit at 4.30pm?
Or enter at 10am and exit at 7pm?
Which would be the maximum hours you could trade without incurring swap costs?
Not particularly worried about swap costs as I'm usually not holding trades for more than a few hours, but I'm interested in trading for maybe a couple of days or weekly, and would like to know the limitations before I start on a strategy.
I usually stick with the major pairs and sometimes GBPZAR.
Thanks.
