DislikedDo not try to short this move. Depending on your broker, the algorithm will push the price against you. It is on a slow seek and destroy mode. How your broker handles your account and who your broker is will dictate what happens in these situations. They will push up price all the way to the close making sure any pull back in the relative strength will maximize the height of the price when it finally is allowed to pull back....increasing your loss should you try to get out will a smaller loss or gamble for a full price reversal below you short...Ignored

Disliked{quote} They're both base currencies against the major pairs. They tend to trade in tandem relative to their counterparts during the intraday bearing any interest rate news. Yen fundamentally is a flat-line as their interest rates are so low for so long. The dollar is the polar opposite and any news effects the entire market making it the more volatile base currency. I don't trade the usdjpy for the same fact that technically it is so volatile and less predictable for me. I wish I had something smarter to say other than that. I"m sure there are...Ignored
