no i am in europe.....I taken 5 trades after starting my new account and with the messup fresh to mind i was able to take 5 trades with perfect signals and i won 4 of 5 and there is where it should be if i only take the perfect trades and just move on after a loss instead i revenge trade with huge lots and i did 20 trades in 20 minutes and every one of them went against me because i didnt trade my system at all just trew out trades......So tomorrow i will trade from London open to close and take all,but only sure signals just for one day would make me really happy and then my hitrate should be some 80%+++

I’m back in it Monday. Had some trouble depositing.
A slow Monday, but made some progress non the less.

... I didnt traded last week, thought can do it this week, but seems to me I am not ready yet… work with charts but do not trade … few ideas crossed my mind and need to check them and it will takes more time then I thought it will … so will be back when I am ready

I am starting again on Monday although I am probably starting to trade after the Lord mayors show as usual! Yesterday was a great trading day - anyway let's hope my EA takes the strain
I'm still going, had a pretty good week, did not reach the weekly 25% target, but still in the game.

Hopefully next week I would have completed January lol.

I was doing a interesting little study and you know what? I think that perhaps many of us are trying to look for too much and maybe not seeing the wood for the trees sometimes. Very easy indeed to do that with forex trading!

Just take a look at the chart below. The shaded areas represent about 200 pips so in less then a couple of hours last friday one could have picked up 200 pips without even waiting for the afternoon session. It is really useful to do this kind of study so that perhaps next time one will be ready

I like to use the CCI because it picks up momentum. And surely when momentum is strong is the time one wants to be trading. Not at the times when momentum is weak (for instance the period of time between the two blue boxes). It also confirms changes in bearish to bullish momentum and vise versa of course which is very important because do we not tend, very much so, to hold on to our pet view that "it's got to go down" or "it's got to go up" - whereas the indi/chart is telling us the TRUTH!

Yes I'm finished for the week too. A fair bit of recovery work needed next week but I'm feeling a lot more confident

Hi guys - hope everyone has had a reasonable start to the week although my experience today is that it's been a tough old day I'm afraid!

Anyway I'm definitely finished trading today after Friday's experience. Going in the right direction anyway

Hanging in there guys but overtrading nearly wiped me out yesterday. You wont believe it but I had $4 left at one stage yesterday - yep only $4! Just shows the power of diligence, concentration and leverage of course - nearly back to where I started yesterday!
I'm finding it quite useful to use a channel indi. By checking the slope and width of the channel, helps to access momentum and direction. Just after session open the price dropped fairly quickly for half an hour. Since then, going sideways - slightly upwards in fact!

I will join you again next week i am demo for the moment to learn displine and keep my emotions in order and accept losses with out going mental and open a bounch of 1-2 lot trades on my small account,but i will start with 500 and do deposits a long the way to grow it faster if i can...lol

This is why I use TMA, it helps to show where price is and the volatility and momentum of that asset. I don't use it for validating an entry, but it works as a good visual aid to see what's gong on with price.
