Feel free to share you thougths, if you're a grid EA enthusiast, successfully running your own EA(s).
This one was coded a few years back by a friend of mine, based on my idea for a simple stoch cross trigger. Plenty of similar ones on this forum.
No matter the trigger, the recipe is simple and universal for grids: go with the trend, and don't get caught in a runaway market.
Easier said than done, right? The first time I touched it, I knew next to nothing about trading, but got very excited by the idea of making money while I sleep (obviously). Result? It doubled a demo in a month, and then blew a £3k live account in a couple of weeks. A very cold shower indeed.
So I ditched EAs and focused on honing my trading skills instead.
Call it a second chance. A bit older for sure, not sure if any wiser, though. Let's see if the two worlds can marry after all.
