Hello Mrfx the trade is really a bomb this week the profits are to the sky this rocks.

This week all my baskets fired - Mon 8am, default tue 11pm and tue 1am, 1.30am and 2am. Mon 8am went to full SL, default closed for small loss, 1am closed for partial SL, 1.30 am went for almost full TP, and 2am closed for small profit

correction, I'm not sure if they're default, i'm using 4000 points TP and SL, and points to start trailing 2000 and points to trail 200

Its good to see the account recovering as the losing sets get removed. Removed another 2 sets this last weekend so now down to 15 presets.

Hello. can I ask you a question? what is the best set you are using? times and duration. I'm trying the default set but with daily duration. among the various tests I did I realized that if during the first day I have a big loss I can hardly recover it during the week (actually I never recovered it). so I start the sets at 20:50 -22: 50-23: 50-02: 50-05: 50.you?

There is no best setting, I am running multiple tests, but it is too soon to say what set is the best.

You are welcome to experiment and find what works good for you.

Hey blam, with all this time that you have been running your weekly forward tests, has any open time stood out to you as a profitable set?

I am running weekly and daily presets and the daily presets are doing a lot better letting me to think that its the better way to go.

I think you're right, maybe the weekly is not the way to go, as this is not a particularly high pip count given the length of the test

I'm interested to hear more about your daily settings. I know you (correctly) like to test over a longer period of time before sharing your findings. Do you know toughly when you might be in a position to share more details of your daily tests?

Funny enough on my side I removed the 02:00 setting as it failed to many times for me.

Its interesting that when I developed this strategy my original intention was for a weekly set up that could be traded on a Monday and left on its own to do its thing, kind of like a weekly set & forget similar to the CCFp strategy, something simple and time saving, but as things progressed and I started experimenting with daily settings they did a lot better, and you're in and out of the market on the same day.

Even now my top weekly set is at nearly +5% total profit so far, but my top daily set is at +14%, nearly 3 times more.

I will continue to forward test at least another 6 months before sharing any solid data, as things can change a lot.

If you interested in testing some daily sets you can try this config, M15, M30, H1, H4, D1, for the time frame settings and I am testing open times at every M15 interval starting from Frankfurt open to NY open and after.

Have some questions:
If "Use lots per balance" is set to true, does it mean the "Lot Size" setting will be ignored and "Lots Per Balance" setting will be used instead?

Is it mandatory to run the EA on M1 chart? or any timeframe charts are fine?

Hi minview, apologies for the late reply.

Your settings look good.

Yes if lots per balance is used the EA will ignore the lot size and it will calculate the lot size based on the account balance.

You can use the EA on any chart time frame you like, it is not dependent on the chart time frame.
