Chickened out, took scalp of 18 pips. 5 hours of not picking a direction, really had me double guessing myself. So, will wait, (still looking for good short entry.... sorry.... just cant go against larger trend.)
NY broke us up through the 4hr trendline, be careful with shorts. Daily MACD is now up also.

However the Australian Labor govt are trying to put a dampner on it with the Worlds Greatest Treasurer Swan trying to find his surplus and cutting every thing he can to get it back into the black by 2012/13..

my target 1.0197 stop sl - 1.0044 and rising :-)

Just out of curiosity, does anyone take much notice of the news to direct their trading? I find it is all BS and just confuses what the charts say.

I trade using a bit of both, mostly graphs though...

I'm new to forex, but I gave up trading the news with regards to equities. Every talking head on TV has an opinion on how an earnings report or CEO change will affect a stock price, and after the dust has settled ever monday morning quarterback comes on the airwaves to say how they were right, even if they had completely blown the call.

Based on the spectrum of opinions on the Euro (which I believe has a long way to go before we see the bottom), I'd guess the forex community suffers from a similar situation.

Actually fundies and techies has its weakness and strengths but for me I just based on my charts as it never lies.

Analyst A says its going down, Analyst B says it will range for a while and Analyst C will say it goes up... So who's right? Actually all 3 hahhaha cause that's how the price moves anyway.

So best is to always based on your charts as it tells u a story like a book. And now the story says to ride the bull for a while and we will let u know when the bear is coming to eat the bull alive. Never ending story.
I combine both charts and FUN+DAMN+MENTAL.... hahahaha
