Just read the full speech of the governor. Nothing Hawkish in it. He hints that the next lot of news and numbers are due in July to adjust rates, so the earliest rate increase if any will be in August.
As for the markets, China just increased the RRR again which shows cracks in its fundamentals. So another rate rise by the chinese will send the AUD lower again.
As for the risk aversion, the US markets had some reasonable numbers yesterday but the markets are still worried about QE3. So, depending how the EU markets react to the statement...Ignored
