Yes, you need to keep it on, just edit the sub options if you don't want to use them.

I really agree with this, this is the safety approached.
I do prefer the safety of my account always.

Also to those who are planning to test the ea, it is open for any configuration and it is user friendly feel free tweak the settings just like Degolep.

Here are the results of yesterday (AUS time) running OBVPS 1 FFAUXUSD, V-VprTMAScalping 1 & 5MN TFs AUXUSD. Both were set to conservative mode, Martingale ON, step 150, profit lock 0.8 Max DD -2.0
41 trades:
V-VprTMAScalping 5MN AUXUSD 5+1 still running; 1Loss
V-VprTMAScalping 1MN AUXUSD 17+ 1 still running;1Loss
OBVPS 1MN AUXUSD 1MN AUXUSD 14 + 2 still running;1Loss

Still 4 trades running -$59

Today is another day of running them both. I will not run them on Fryday….

Yes its an emergency exit because during high impact news its either the market will go in your favor or go against you. If you want you can increase the maximum draw down, which is set to -5 by default. That feature is programmed to protect your account.

To explain further, this feature will get triggered on and during the news, when a certain draw down is reached and there are news going on, the ea will closed all the orders and will stop trading until the news is finished and will starting trading again depending on the time you set on the ea. In any case you can increase the maximum draw down allowed in the account by changing Allowed Max DrawDown, which is set to -5 by default. Also please if you want to increase the maximum draw down please do not forget to put that "-" negative sign or else it will not close the orders causing large draw downs to your account. Please note that if you enabled Low and Medium Impact news, this feature can be triggered also that's why by default Low and Medium Impact news are off.

I have other ea, but still on the testing period, its called OBVS (On Balance Volume Scalper.) I am still working on it and it needs a lot of changes.

Changes to previous day settings: Profit lock from 0.8 to 0.6

V-VprTMAScalping 5MN: 7+1 trades; 2 Losses
V-VprTMAScalping 1MN AUXUSD: 16+3 trades; 3 Losses
OBVPS 1MN AUXUSD 1MN AUXUSD: 6+2; 0 losses

Still 6 trades running -$67

Although, we are running in profit ($) for the past two days +$207.80 of solid testing it is noticeable that the floating P/L is about 30%. The last day DD increased from -0.05% to -0.07%. This is minimal on a $50K account of course and may be due to the chnage in profict lock or/and USD news. Hence, why I was not going to run the EAs today but I now will just to see the behaviour.

I am also running 2 live accounts today, 1 with aggressive mode and 1 is on conservative mode just to see the behavior. Will this serve as the final test? We will see.

Yeah, I was thinking of doing this too but I have just changed the PLock to 0.7. It isn't looking to good for the moment -$19.xx over 4 trades plus -$80.xx of open trades..... specially this week nfp will be over...?
Surely, there is a need to test it a little longer.....?

REMEMBER: I am running both OBVPS and VRP scalper tomorrow I will need to review the results... hope it urns around!!!
