This MT4 broker seems to have spreads equal to HotspotFx ECN but WITHOUT COMMISSION!

London/NewYork
Typical price (not lowest, but typical)

Hotspotfx (with at least $10 per round trip)

GBP/JPY 3-4

Eur/usd .6-2

Usd/Jpy .6-2

GBP/JPY 3-4 WITHOUT COMMISSION

Eur/USd 1-2 WITHOUT COMMISSION

SO I ASK. HOW ARE THEY ABLE TO DO THIS? Their not an ecn but they are offering fantastic prices on spreads.

Dont they have to widen the spread at least a little bit in order to make money on the spread?

Also, anyone who has more info on trading with these guys let me know how it has gone.

I cant find a better broker as far as advantages.

Not all sins are created equal
They are alright. I have been using them for a few months. No complains really.

I would also like to know how they make money. I once asked them, and they said they have a lot of institutional customers and that they make money from net exposure.

Still, I am still worried about putting too much money with them. My account with them is small.

i hope they make enough not to mess with there customers trades, i to had an account with them everything went smooth but i thought they was just to small to have a large account with.

How does a casino make money? Well Ikon Royal does it the same way.
I also run an IKON demo and am amazed at the spreads (1 pip on fiber and U/J most of the time, 1-2 on aussie, 1-3 on swiss, cad, & sterling). I asked them how much each quote is good for and they claim they'll do 500 lots (50M) notional. They are certainly ahead of Oanda across all pairs, which makes them the best DD spread-wise that I've seen.

Also, are you sure about HotSpot FXr being 3-4 on GBP/JPY? I run the ATC MT4 demo (HS FXr feed) and G/J is often 6-8, I've yet to see it lower than 6. GBP/CHF is even higher (8-12). Something doesn't seem right about it..

Very fast withdrawal. I asked for a wire and got my funds in my account the following day.

Plus they have the tightest spreads. I have seen GBP/JPY at 2-3 pips spreads at times of high liquidity. Although the spreads are variable.

That ATC demo feed is NOT HOTSPOTFX feed. I tried it also and ran it next to the hotspotfx. ATC IS WAY OFF! I made a post about this earlier. They say they have ecn feed and great commission. I admit they do have great commission but it is quickly seen why the commission is so great when looking at the spreads.

It IS the HotspotFX live feed, just not the HotspotFX *DEMO* feed. They are different.

I have done withdrawal 3-5 times, and each time it is next day.
