{quote} No i didnt take that trade , because : 1- near trend indicator (TIPS1). 2- tp sl not good R/R . 3- there is no news event for EUR today , so it may going range today . 4- M30,H1 candles was out of trend indicator,so its strongly suggest follow TIPS1 .

Hi BTM, in first page TIP 1: when price comes near the trend indicator,it will get back in area.
So TP is not out of trend indicator is the strickly rule of thread ?

In TIP 1 you wrote "so when an entry signal appear but candles are out of the trend indicator, trade carefully". Do you mean "previous nearly candle are out of the trend indicator" , please see picture .

{quote} I am not sure because of TIP 1: we don't take trade near trend indicator. With EURUSD signal we have signal near baseline. So I think near trend indicator mean that: signal need near baseline more than near trend indicator. So I thought TIP 1 is available. {image}

OK, but did you noticed that, if would be like you said, EVERY signal under baseline would qualify - it is near baseline more than near trend indi ... which of course isn't a profitable supposition ...
Look, I think you're too focused only on the position on chart: "near" doesn't mean only a distance in pips. It means also probabilities. I mean - normally Paris is very far from me, but if I will set my mind that tomorrow I will go there, and I buy the tickets and make my hotel reservation, well, tomorrow Paris will be very near to me, because it's very probable that I will be there ... Hope you get the point ...
Now, you can make the analogies: my town -> current price, Paris - TP1, my tickets -> order flow ...
Think a little what was in the head of BTM when he stated TIPS1 ... I am sure there was something good ... . I offer you two tips about it:
1. TP1 and upper band;
2. where the current game is playing - between S1 and baseline, or between baseline and R1.

No, that is not correct. Price near trend indicator means that when looking at a BUY arrow, the PRICE is rather close to the top trend indicator.

On MT4, click the crosshair cursor.
Straight above where the up arrow is displayed, move the cursor to the top trend indicator line and hold down the left mouse button.
Drag the cursor straight down to the bottom trend indicator and stop while keeping the mouse button down. You will see three numbers displayed. Look at the middle number and remember it.
Divide the middle number by 2.
Click the horizontal line tool.
Place a horizontal line at the same price as your calculated number.
Now look at the price bar where the up arrow is displayed.
Where is is compared to the horizontal line and the top trend indicator line?
If it is between them but more than about half way to the trend indicator line, then consider it to be too close to the trend line.
The markets are speaking to you. Do you know their language? I M T

Haha, it make me a little confuse about your explanation.
I think we need a widen of upper and lower trend indicator. In this scence, we have a strong trend.
And the distance between baseline and upper /lower trend indicator is big. So the distance form baseline to price at signal is not important.
Or we can take a simple tip: TP is not out of trend indicator as DAVE told. It make sure that we we are having a strong trend with widen of trend indicator.

I don't have the right result for this strategy, BTM. I even take wrong order, so the result is not right.

I suggest who is good at this strategy post their entry as soon as they pull a trigger. After that, other can learn from their entry and we can test the result for this strategy.

We have many wisely advice, many TIP, but we don't have real right entry every day to learn form that.

For today, I have 3 signal and I take them but I don't know: It is right or not.

Which trade, BTM or DAVE took them or not ?

let's solve this once and for all already.

I don't know how hard it must be for some, but here is a schematic picture that might help some users to use the rules correctly.
These are the basics. Don't jump into each trade following these basics. Each trade should be at your own risk and after your analysis of the market situation.
But still, following these rules, will save you half of the trouble.

The biggest risk is not taking a risk.

Add this to your 1st post.

And seriously stop answering newbie questions.
Anything above the line is an uptrend, below the line is a downtrend.

Hello BTM,

I will like to suggest that the dashboard generates signals for entries below the base line (for buy signals). As it seems the dashboard only generates buy signals that are above the base line. And we know some of the best trades come from signals outside the baseline.
This also goes for sell signals.

Update:
K, i got another alert popup on another pair and this time it appeared on the dashboard but a few bars later its gone, so i guess i must have missed the update on the dashboard for the first popup alert i posted.
You gotta know when to hold 'em, know when to fold 'em ...
