Weekend Gap Strategy

I am sure that this system can generate profits, I have created an indicator that shows the gaps in the first 75 currencies of the broker where it is installed.

is a good idea, but i think that in the meantime you have to try the strategy of weekend gaps or daily gaps.

Hello Luis. I decided to test your GAP indicator. However, it does not display anything when I put it on a chart. I believe it is because there is no input or parameters for suffixes. For example, my broker uses i suffix.

As i can see your screenshots are form m1 so what about the spreads?

You need search a broker with "ZERO SPREAD" or the smallest possible spread, can you test with another plattform (I don't know if ninjatrader allows operating at that time), exist many brokers. I do not recommend brokers, I only show this POSSIBLE strategy freely.

some gains

There used to be a 100% winning strategy revolving around gaps but it no longer works because most brokers don’t offer guaranteed stops anymore. You’d hedge a pair just before closing on Friday and put a guaranteed stop 5-10 pips in each direction. When markets open one of your order would trigger a stop and the other in the other direction (ie profit). It’s too bad that this is not offered anymore, and the brokers that do offer this put a premium on the spread if you deploy a guaranteed stop so it’s worthless as of now unless someone figures out a new technique on how to trade gaps. It was wonderful while it lasted (lol)
