Dear Experts,
backtesting is not demoing is not real trading - we all know that.
Most times I have to finetune settings (pairs, start lots) of EAs which i try. Usually for my cent-accounts the development of balance and equity is very important. Imagine the scenario: EA is working, there are some profits, but one trade squeezed margin with wellknown effects: The account is still alive or not.
Every time when an account is blown i want to find out which trade was the worm in the apple.
With some indicators like icefx acount or donforex balance/equity curve i can only have an overview. The accounts history says "yes here this pair, there was a big loss from ###.## $ (not good), hm, a few lines further on the next loss hit - o yes, here we see the first stopout and then the bloodbath began and so on.
If i ever needed the concret analyzing before i am sure i need it now to see precisely what pair or lotsize catched me. In this situation an overview like the donforex equity/balance curve is not precise enough. I have to go deeper into it. I would like to see how the account has been developed and what (wrong) decisions i made (which turned me upside down).
You know what i mean? My account is tracked with myfxbook and i tried their statistic. But you can't go back into this balance/equity curve to see exactly these handful of trades which i want to get rid.
Are there tools/indicators which can protocol more precise?
Thanks in advance!
Pit
