Hi George,

I wanted to thank you for dedicating your time and energy to educate us. I am new to FOREX market and the patterns look very complex to my eyes. However, I was lucky enough to strike into FractalFreak forum randomly (as a non-member), and then had to work my way like a detective to land on your forum. I am sure there is alot to learn from you, and I am curious to put in the effort and improve. Your presence gives us (the beginners) hope. I have alot of detailed questions to ask from you.

DO not concentrate too much on Liquidity gaps ,,,
especially the smaller ones ,,,
ONLY take note of the LARGE bars on the HOURLY and 4 HOURLY charts ,,,

Do NOT ,,, BOUND ur mindset with stuff like the smaller things ,,,

I think if you subscribe to the all powerful MM theory, fundamental analysis will still be valid to a degree (at least in the long term). In order to avoid raising suspicions that could potentially lead to investigations, they will need to make things seem like they're running organically. If currencies that receive nothing but bad news don't fall, then people are going to start asking questions.

Just my opinion though
I was wondering if:

1-The 4 hour levels necessarily provide a higher probability of reversal compared to the 1 hour levels.
2-What should be done when price slices through the level and passes the region, is there any stop criteria in place?
3-Would the cluster (overlap) of 4 hour and 1 hour and 15 min levels all at a tight neighborhood (target), make price more likely to reverse based on your screening experience?
4-Is it a sound idea to martingale around the targets as they move alittle bit above the high target, or alittle bit below the low target?

Thanks for the reply..i have started to go through the thread lately. Just your trans Tasman neighbour here. Starting from the basics now. I was looking at the GBPJPY 4 hour chart and would appreciate if any of the senior members can have a look at my markings of Swing highs and lows. I am just beginning to adjust the TMA settings. I totally agree that we have to learn ourselves and if the ?? is too basic please ignore or delete. Once again will try to absorb everything that is put here by George and fellow traders.

Thanks George for your reply. I am looking forward to watching the second podcast. I watched the first one and there were amazing points about life, trading journey, mindset and etc in it. Fantastic work sir.

Thanks for your suggestion. Will try to incorporate that in my charts from here on out.

Just a sample trade..10 pips trade taken..quiet asia session. On 1 minute time frame. TMA was not perfect but still getting used to the right setting. Low was set at the start of the day and was also the target zone. Not sure if it was take at the right time or No but thanks to George for helping all of us to look at the Charts differently. Lots to learn.

in time things will get clear, i am sure.
not everything will come instantly, and that is all well.
just a small note, that the H4 targets also made up from H1 candles, and a H4 top or bottom happen to be also a H1 top and bottom the same time!!!

i just got back to my trading after a few days away, and here is my GJ chart, H1, as i left it, and now...
i think it may help you some (or maybe others too?)
what was the target i was looking for?
would i be by large "safe" from the 'grinding' day if i am on H1, focusing of and waiting for the corresponding target?

apart, as Angelo was also quoting older posts from George, once the higher TF is at a target, then is the time to go lower, M1, and for the finest entry.
there was more than a few pips to make in the period i missed, and one of my eye is crying that i missed all those, but of course family is family, so i am smiling that my son had a happy birthday, with a great little party with friends, and lots of good food ( i was cooking!)

Setting up short term longs and shorts only to be stopped out of the longs and shorts. Then they are setting up long term positions at major swing highs and lows. bouncing off them once or twice only to smash through them. This is whty its so important to know all the time frames. please see attached my views. Would you consider the red area as a target since the market just came back for a slight touch (blue circle on the right). This is what I was questioning about my approach.

BTW I am happy with George's reply to my question who highlighted the potential entry zones. I am just wondering if I am doing something wrong in taking the red area as a target given there are only 2 touches
