Trading Style: Hybrid Manual Auto. During ranging periods I try to sell high and buy low. During trending periods I try to buy/sell the HH or LL. The hard part is... as always.. is determining if you are ranging, or trending.

Lessons Learned:

  1. Cut losses quick, and don't regret it afterwards.
  2. Avoid over trading.
  3. Trade light, unless you are really really really confident in the move.
  4. Don't trend trade in a range.
  5. Don't range trade in a trend.

Hi Kimjoun. Yeah. Today was a little crazy for my taste. I had a ranging system on for a trending day. But I was able to get out a little above break even so I'm happy.

Some discussion on EU: Today was a turning point hitting upper trendline resistance (see chart below). The nice fake created much sell supply. The next H4 candle confirmed the fake and was a good sell signal. Price has yet to hit the bottom but seems to currently be in retrace before the next move down. Trend bias is still down until top line is confirmed broken.

However I didn't take it due to it being in the middle of ranging period. Will wait for bounce from top resistance for short setup.

New GU sell stop entered: We are at HTF resistance with dragon beginning to change direction. LH created on M15 and broke the dragon twice. If proce creates new low, we have a signal.
