So I am not mad after all when I mentioned to Bubola that I could see a V shape in the 3 candle setup, .

When new people come and read this thread, purity/clarity/simplicity is of the essence - many threads have come and gone as they become a tips and tricks fest- everyone pitching in with a different method, different tips, indicators, strategies - and they get to be very, very confusing indeed...and one of the battles has been to keep this a pure, one time frame - one pair - one philosophy thread.

The entry is not an FCR, or a BB in System II terms and Musanto we do not trade line charts, so in my humble opinion it is by definition off plan. That doesn't mean to say that it isn't effective - but in the pure System II methodology it is an alien - but hey in time who knows it might be another tool for the toolkit - but that is for Fx and Feb to decide. We all have our little quirks and differences, and that is great offline. For example I trade another pairing more often than EU, and I have a couple of techniques I use in certain conditions that work for me but the thread is not where I share that information.

To anyone who goes through the process of hallucinating FCR's - boy oh boy I know that one well - this does not add clarity - it adds fog. All future readers deserve to get the pure picture too. I'm sure that Fx will have something to add here - but let's stick to the plan, share the plan, practice the plan and take other stuff offline. WHen something new arises that might fit then it will needs to be challenged openly, like this, get tested, approved and taught by the boss(es).

I am still in from my original 72 short. Good luck with your current short. Seems to be going well in our direction now.

bakuli,
I thank you for you reply about asian session trade.
but i still have question to ask,
See the chart where you point your entry.
How can I possible to hold those (1) (2) for stop loss 15 pips ?
Not possible is it ?
That's why I assume there was a BB trade there,
and my trade is right at the Bracket brake .

Hi Musanto,

On your chart you wrongly marked out one of the two entries I highlighted to you.

I have reposted the chart and have marked the 2 valid entries I pointed out to you as 1 & 2

For trade 1, 123 @ 3962, the maximum drawdown was -12, still within your hard stop of -15. The second entry, a continuation set-up @3956, the maximum drawdown was -11.

i see some discussion about w.b/w.r and correct enteries..

we trade fcr and 123.. rest is secondary..

watch my chart..

i see the W.B but i do not see a fcr to go with it what so ever.. that little hiccup that turned into a nice early entry for a runner earns you a jelly babies with pips and a nice terrible bottomline at end of the month.
that hiccup could be just as easily one of those hallucination fcr..

we need to stick to the plan.. if your ur confused now.. well it won't be your first time and surly not your last.. it happens to the best of us.. I guess extra homwork time at your quiet time is on the way tonight.

when we spot a weakness we still need a reversal setup (fcr.. nice loop or V) to go with it.

thats it.. end of discussion.

Musanto..
since when we trade the damn line charts!!
line charts do not tell the whole story.. it hides the reality like the Renko's and heikin ishi, or however a hell is spelled.

thats it.. end of discussion.

Point taken brother Fxa. I know what you're saying. Those kind of set-ups although rewarding us occasionally with nice pips has not got an edge , therefore will not give us a healthy bottomline in the long run.

Thanks for the feedback.

Same here. Currently above the 1.3913. If this is going to be a long haul into the evening I may consider putting a 25 pip trailing stop on the trade so I can have dinner at my leasure.

Is this what they call "afternoon delight"??

If you're a cricket fan, you've just hit a CENTURY (new name for a 100 pipper?)

Yes, its 6.30 PM here.
It looks like I'm going to just miss my Century. The SL is just a few pips away now.

SL just hit. Out at the fcr for 66 pips.
