Well the first hurdle is nearly in sight, a few more pips to +25. So #1sc1 coming into play.
Ignored
Bakuli ... my dear friend ... 25 pips in itself is not a hurdle ... its merely a short term target ... a hurdle is like an LL or HH which u need to break to maintain momentum.

In my humble opinion the key to runners is to see pace, momentum, speed, and then the corrections (how deep etc) to ascertain the quality of the move ... anything above 50 pips thats a runner especially in a market where the typical average range is roughly 120 pips or so.

Would you agree FX?

I know what you are saying about the HH, HL, LH & LL and the likes. I was just referring to what Fxa has included in the Scenario 1 play.

Here is a quote from fxa about the hurdle that I was referring to in my previous post. maybe my interpretation is wrong but here's what 's written down .......

scenario 1
.. when i enter a trade.. and its not a fakeout bcz it has shoot up for about 15 or 20 pips gain.. then i am obviously set to play #1.. and I set my sl below the levelline.. ok.. with knowing that B is my first choice.. if right around 20-25 pips and under i get to face with my first hurdle, then follows with levelline holding and retrace resuming back in my direction and tests the LL/HH.. at this moment i do not preserve on first or even the second attempt..

I like what you say about the runners but to tell you the truth I don't really put any indepth analysis into what a runner should look like, feel like, etc.. but hey ! That's me, rightly or wrongly. Just my humble opinion. Thanks for the post. It's good to discuss...so over to the family now for their views.

Cheers,
B

Would like to see a candle close below 1.3995 .... to get a good signal this move is not just a bounce.

instead of me answering this question and questions alike.. (no offence dfx)

hear me out on my humble observation and little advise..

reading your recent post about current discussion.. the key phrases that captured me were.. "do not over complicate the matter" I know all about the saying that, simple is difficult.. but just make it happen, just do it.. at some point u got make some kind of a hard commitment to yourself and follow it like your life is dependent on it..

the other phrase that you want to pay close attention to is.. "losing well its a achivment" .. wow, powerful, powerful stuff.. elizo's signuture also points out to this. separate yourself from the money.. the stack infront of you got nothing to do with your performance and decision making in the heat of the battle..
in poker, we play the man..

in trading, we play the man within!!.. you got me there!!..

and the best way to deal with that is to keep it simple.. risk a comfortable load to trade at ease will go a long way.

they say:
Mohammad Ali become really great when he found other reasons to fight for other than just money and championship belts.

our own dear mentor feb.. became really great when he found other reasons to trade for other than just making money like hot cakes at will (i seen it).. to give back and stay alive.. thats why you have this trade today..
