G'day Guys,
The trading is not about mechanical entries/exits like some robots do; for me it's about reading and understanding the price action and act accordingly.
... it's (aggressive) entry based on reversal break-out of the previous swing low (after a fake break-out to down-side) ...
... very often New York open is producing false signal (usually pushing the price down for no real reason) so, knowing this ..., I didn't wont to follow that move ...
... partially right ..., 'cos when scalping of course; I don't use any of the typical techniques for in a range trade or a range break-out,
it's all reduced to two simple set-ups: 1-2-3 break-out and/or fractal reversal break-out (that's really plenty)
re: other part of the question ... well, there where some clean 1-2-3 set-ups and I did use them to enter my trades,
otherwise the entry was by the fractal reversal, which is quicker but involves more risk ...
I hope that all this above explains and helps to understand ...

Dislikedcould you explain why you did not trade the break short, on the fractal at 1.4258, but you then traded that same point going long (your +55)?Ignored
Dislikedyour entries today were range breakout and reversals, there weren't any good 1,2,3 setups; am I right?Ignored
