What is it about "you'll do better" that you don't understand?

Ahoy there, BB - still socking it to 'em on the Fozzy thread, I see !

Fozzy certainly switched me on to different ways to use RSI, which is a staple on my charts these days (as you may have seen on The RSI Trade thread).

Hi Beachbum,

As you are experienced trader using this method I would like to ask something.

Do you enter trades when you see valid fozzy signal and next day is bank holiday?

Similar situation like today- tomorrow is UK and US bank holiday.

Your original question is very simple; it deserves a simple answer.

If you Fozzy trade in it's purest form (that would be technically), bank holidays are meaningless. If you have progressed beyond the basics, bank holidays as well as other factors would affect your trade decisions; notice the comments of jtrade a few posts back.

I am still beginner trading micro lots on Oanda. Didnt enter any trade on Sunday and will most probably ignore any signals before bank holidays.

I only discovered this thread about a week or so ago and have been dabbling in it. I have to admit - it hasn't worked the way I thought it would. I've checked it via the original fozzy (with bolliger bands) and the newer version (no bands) and it hasn't held up. W and L total

Now, being a newbie, maybe I'm missing something, but this seems like a very simple system to try.

Has anybody been using it for the last year or so? Has it held up for you? Are there any tweaks or filters that have made a difference for you?

Does your schedule allow you to trade using the H4 time frame? If it does, I suggest you read the thread about H4 Fozzy and then spend a little time backtesting for the past year.

No, I work 9 hour days and only have time to look at the market either in the morning or in the evening. I'm trying to find a simple daily strategy that would take, say, 1/2 hour tops in the morning and in the evening to trade with. I'm open to suggestions if you have any.

hi did you know basically from what i can tell is the oridinal fozzy method is just an indicator to tell u when there is a bollinger band bounce on the daily. check it? i may be wrong but looks like it to me and the crosses above the band when goin up is just the price bouncing off the 20sma

i use fozzy signal to signal a trade is coming and i use price action to get in but if u look the fozzy usually is off just a standard bollinger band bounce.
