DislikedHi Lesse, First of all thanks for sharing your creation. I am trying to understand what is exactly going on and how the EA is operating , for example i do not survive a month like January 2018 on a 5k account on a single pair (EURUSD) with 0.3 EA rate. With a 0.4 rate the Martingale factor is higher and drawdown is brought to a minimum, can you shine a bit light how you backtested it ? You tested all pairs together so when one pair has a big DD it is balanced with another opposite pair and then you wait for reversal ? SL of 1000 pips is just a disaster...Ignored
DislikedHi Tradekick, The EA is doing fine also on EURUSD at the moment, but what i was refering to is that in January 2018 it would run out of margin on only EURUSD. Because the EA is not basket based as far as i can see, and we run the EA independent on every pair it would run out of margin and it would kill the account. Hopefully i see it wrong and Lesse can test it. {image} {image}Ignored
Disliked{quote} Let me say this again: The EA was designed to be used on 30 pairs together at the same time. it would have the best result. It is not recommended for 1 or few pairs , coz it's meaningless to do thatIgnored
Disliked{quote} Lesse, i really understand that but if all the pairs are individual and not linked in any way it just means i can take any pair of the 30 and backtest. If they are linked and TP is affected by for example all EUR pairs together i understand what you say, but it is not the case from what i see. So if you can give a little bit more information how you desgined the EA, that would be where this forum is for. (I think) You are not saying anything about how you managed to test this EA on 30 pairs. I did this before in the past running 30 pairs...Ignored
Disliked{quote} Sorry. EA's strategy is secrecy. but not only a strategy. All pairs are related. It would calculate the possible good result and decided which pairs would buy and which pairs would sell. in order to keep low drawdown and big profit.Ignored
Disliked{quote} Hi Lesse, Ok, understand you don't want to give away your algo - however here is a question I think you can answer without giving anything away. Does your EA have any protection built in for possible margin call? Example, is there anything that will stop the EA from placing trades when the margin gets too low? So far the performance is amazing, however the margin level has been quite low on several occasions - like 400% free. I just wonder if your EA has any safety factors built in for "Black Swan" type events - like when the market really...Ignored
Disliked{quote} EA has ‘Money Protection Function’(MPF) it would close all orders when floating profit over 30% of your balance.(e.g. $5000*30%=-1500) I'll plan to show it in setting window next update version. {image} {image}Ignored
