10,000 MA Dollar Cost Averaging

Hello fellow ForexFactory friends,

Please see the attached EA, 'Architek Global'. It is something I wrote to trade the waves on the 10,000 simple moving average. This is found in your MT4 terminal under 'Custom Moving Averages'. I believe the thread title speaks for itself. I use this MA on the 'slower' currencies. Best of luck! If you have any questions about the code, just let me know...

Reason for this long?

Are you looking for?
10000 periods MA? If you are using it on a daily chart, you are using data over 27 years old. I don't see the point on that for forex trading. If you are using it on lower timeframes, simply use less periods on a higher timeframe: i.e. 24 periods MA on H1 chart = 6 periods MA on H4 chart. Using less periods will speed up the calculations for MT4.

Thank you for reminding me of this technique. I have studied the related averages and they seem to react well.
