Greetings PASR Traders,

I really enjoy reading this thread. Would this shooting star be an ok entry? All the bosses are in line and the trend is down.

On mine I dont see it either. Only inside bar, than BUEB and a doji. Mayeb swing low or retrace - test to 20 EMA. I only see drop to SL at 1.7370 and maybe forming new HL at 1.7435

Would this "analysis" be good in term of PASR? Not included higher TF but just plain PA with strat shadow

I need to start somewhere, so dont take it for good analysis.

EURAUD M5 {quote} Well done, you did good - a perfect execution of PASR. Something must be sinking in! What made you choose EUR over GBP? GBP, most times, has much more volatility than EUR. That same trade, at the same time, but on GBPAUD, would have produced 300% more profit!

Thanks Strat.
i've been looking at too many charts and trying too hard. Next week I'm just going to watch GBPNZD and maybe a couple of others at the top of the list depending on the price action. Something is definitely sinking in, I'm over the trade everything I see at PASR stage... I'm sure I heard a loud click in me little ol head today.

Take note of what Saad007 said in his post about GBP and what I said in an earlier post to you. Remember, a couple of months ago, Saad007 was where you are now and, look at him NOW - getting ready to buy Bangladesh!

Sorry

But after I joined this thread, I did try indicators and EAs, but also noticed by my self, that they are not for any use.

I did setup a fresh MT4 without any indicators and EAs and since then I try to follow thread rules - PASR rules.

Will not post until ... - dont want to be blocked here

Nice weekend

and happy new year :-)

Good Day Strat and friends

I attach hereto my chart for the USD/ZAR trade i spoke about two days back. My take profit is the red support line at the bottom and the entry was the break of the daily bear candle marked by the red arrow and the sl was the high of the previous days bull candle. Comments will be appreciated. I have not strictly been a PASR tader in the past but the path is certainly making me a better trader. I look forward to being shredded in the comments.

Hey! You beat me - by 8 minutes!

Was just about to post to you with a 4 hour chart of this pair, but I see you have just posted the daily.

So:

1. You have already made my "list of favourites" by posting a REAL CHART (none of this 5 min madness for me!).

2. I'm with Strat inasmuch as I think you might be "mad enough" to fit in well on this thread (and you post REAL CHARTS, not noise, so that's a bonus. Say did, I already mention that - I MUST be getting old and slow).

3. I also with Strat on this one: A request PLEASE, at least go to a white background so I can see your charts (yeah, yeah, I know: I'm getting old and slow AND my eyesight is failing me. Heard it all before, BUT the reality is that I think I'm going to want to actually look at your charts (as you post REAL charts, not noise - or did I already mention that?).

Seriously, very hard to see the action aginst a black background.

cheers (and welcome, oh poster of REAL CHARTS!)

Thanks Trogger will change that background for sure! But changing it to white is probably unlawful because it must be some kind of as yet un named racism, I am sure I will have a commission of enquirery investigating, HAHAH

Although I never traded PASR in the past , I made the move from 4h to daily and needed to learn to let profit run ( I come from a horse racing and Gambling background where superior risk reward and money management is only way you stay afloat so because iam essentially on a negative expectation I took all the small profits I could)
Unlike the crap you hear on CNN and Bloombergs ( Mario Draghi had a fantastic bowel movement last night that is why the Eur opened three pips higher today, or due to the unusual cloud activity on one of Jupiters moons we can explain the drop in gold how do these idiots get on tv? everyone can curve fit an explanation post fact)
I can actually point out the spikes on ZAR ( Usually long when some thief in parliament steals something) with actual news. Yesterdays strong bear candle is on the news that the probable next leader of the ANC will be less successful at corruption than the current incumbent , so we can all rejoice, Now a beer in Otago will only cost me one weeks wages instead of the usual 2 weeks, so drinks all round and on the house when the Boks win ( hahah)

Thank you for the great support and kind words. Ive only ever posted like once on FF and followed only one other thread, that dealt with pure naked PA, so thanks to Strat and all of your efforts. Not many people stud the goose that lays the golden egg.

Oh, they will. They will! I understand that Jacob Zuma himself will personally lead that enquiry and that a mere $10Billion US will be needed from the South African taxpayer - should cover the cost of that enquiry!

Although I never traded PASR in the past , I made the move from 4h to daily You went UP not Down in time frame?? My God! I haven't felt THIS way in SUCH a long time (Swoon!) - Do they have good gender re-assignment surgery in South Africa? (I think I want to MARRY you!)and needed to learn to let profit run Let Profit RUN! - Are you COMPLETELY MAD? - How will you EVER join the 95(+)% of traders by doing that! ( I come from a horse racing and Gambling background where superior risk reward and money management is only way you stay afloat so because iam essentially on a negative expectation I took all the small profits I could)
Unlike the crap you hear on CNN and Bloombergs ( Mario Draghi had a fantastic bowel movement CORRECTION! Sorry, can't let you get away with That one - What you MEANT to say: Mario Draghi IS a fantastic bowel movement ( a "Merchant Wanker of the worst possible ilk [ Soldman Kachs!] last night that is why the Eur opened three pips higher today, or due to the unusual cloud activity on one of Jupiters moons we can explain the drop in gold how do these idiots get on tv? everyone can curve fit an explanation post fact)
I can actually point out the spikes on ZAR ( Usually long when some thief in parliament steals something - I don't follow? Surely, if you are now trading daily candles then EVERY candle would have be an enormous spike, wouldn't it? (or is your parliament currently in recess, with parliamentarians enjoying a well earned break -in the south of France?)) with actual news. Yesterdays strong bear candle is on the news that the probable next leader of the ANC will be less successful at corruption than the current incumbent (Sorry, again I don't follow: Why would this news have ANY effect on the value of the Sth African Rand? Zuma wouldn't be so dumb as to leave the Treasury with ANY Rand, now would he? Ipso Facto: there is nothing to appreciate. Surely?) , so we can all rejoice, Now a beer in Otago (“Oh mein Gott!” - you actually KNOW where Otago is? (Hell, we got Kiwis in Kiwiland who have never even heard of the place will only cost me one weeks wages instead of the usual 2 weeks (you earn WAGES in South Africa? I thought EVERYBODY was unemployed!), so drinks all round and on the house when the Boks win ( You Tightwad! Everything was going swimmingly until you posted that clip ( Japan) I worked in professional rugby for about 10 years ( Remember the CATS? Laurie Mains What a coach) and when we lost to Japan I was actually not as unhappy, than watching the Italian Half back dominate the collision with one of our loose forwards, not once but many times. What is it with half backs anyway? I have always been an Irish fan, hardest of the hard, win lose or draw they will bang until the final whistle, Joe Schmidt is a very shrewd coach, I think the AB'S may look at him when they replace shag. Frankly they didnt pass 2nd gear when they stuck us

I grew up in the golden era of AB and Bok rugby 86 Cavaliers, Fitzpatrick team from 92 to 96 back when strong scrums were allowed to dominate, now everybody hugs and gets comfy... how it changes. I was a big Taine Randall fan and made friends with many great All Blacks, Richard Loe Jerry Collins Ron Crib ( Remember him?) were to my mind giants of the game. Campese once said in an interview here, when asked a question about the influence of League ( 5 pass kick) on union, " Yeah the proliferation of Tattoos" but then again he is from Mouth Island so its probably excusable.
I read the New Zealand herald just to laugh at the ratings Chris Rattue ( proper Journalist) gives our players and the fun he makes at the idiot who coaches.

Sadly weak Bok rugby dilutes the strength of world rugby but ZAR is weak and money talks.

We have close Irish friends from Galway, Dublin and the trouble and strife has a Welsh cousin living in Rosslare.
