{quote} I want to understand PASR to a level I can take a trade on my sleep. Once I get PASR right, I would then think about taking a trade or specialising, Strat. I guess I am at level 1 and everytime when I read different posts different aspects come into picture. It is going to take time. For me to understand different aspects I guess I need to work on different charts. Once I get many things right about my analysis, I would go back and specialize in one currency. Do you agree with this or would you want to provide your experience which is different...

This is your choice. I have had students who have learned better by staying with one pair while others have done good on all pairs.

That is because there is SO MUCH to LEARN and UNDERSTAND. Do not get distracted by my posts to more advanced traders. Focus on the systematic and logical PATH I laid out on my "old" original thread. Make sure you UNDERSTAND a topic BEFORE moving on to the next topic. More than anything, REMEMBER that you can't eat an elephant in one bite or that Rome was not built in a day.

I understand my error just now, I had not identified a support on H1 and I sold just before this support, big mistake. However, I think you should not get upset Strat, it is normal that we ask questions in order to better understand the strategy, we are beginners we must not forget. My teachers would not angry against us students when we did not understand something M5 is a good strategy as it has many opportunities compared to Daily, and I'm not saying this to be "quick rich", I actually think so and I would continue on my side on M5 because it...

I am of the same opinion that rome was not built in a day. I have lot of conviction that this is the right path. I want to learn it well until I get confidence on what I am doing. There is absolutely no urgency to take a trade and become rich overnight. So I take it slowly. Let me read, learn and understand PASR. No upper limit on time. Once that is done by going through the entire old thread (which is more a step by step process than this thread), I am sure I will be a better trader who knows what I am doing.

I first need to understand what your trading strategy is. You also need to identify the time frame on all your charts.

If your trading chart is M5 then you should be following my PASR Trend Trading strategy in which case you only need H4 and H1 for support and resistance levels.

Your London Breakout is NOT part of my PASR strategy and the fake out is one of the reasons I have never been interested in breakouts. If you mix this with my PASR Trend Trading strategy you are DOOMED to LOSE.

............. note that many are linked - for a reason:................. There has been no change, no shifting of levels , no smoke & mirrors. .....have planned to enter short at a particular price - the plan has been in place (and in play) for many months..................You should also look at the price targets on the other two positions that remain. They are "conservative" That should tell you that I am not expecting price to "tank". Next week, I will monitor PA and decide how to manage from here.

Updating this trade for completeness.

Third position off (last Thursday) at 73.10.

Updated chart shows just one of my original long positions ,entered 30 November, along with entry set up for recent shorts ( couple of SS, position of second important wrt broken up-trend line, retracement back to upper wick of the first SS, followed by entry bar - of course, relative position of all of this wrt to HTF charts is key!!!):

Plan remains in play - I am neither a buyer nor a seller at these prices.

Waiting to see which side of 0.7198 we settle on.

GBPNZD fail

hello

Saw the below marked candle earlier and thought it might be a good entry.

So I marked down the price and thought to check for H1 SR afterwards, and saw price on top of S/R. Exited right away and price bounced back 30-40 pips as of writing this

Would it be a good entry to go long after first hour of london closes with that long wick on H1 on top of support?
