Hello,
Spent already 8 years in FX. However, unsuccessfully, admitting that. Always have been trying to use different systems, trying different trading strategies but all of them went to the 0 in my trading accounts. Also tried creating robots, took a lot of time, created also +20 EAs, showing great results in demo but in real life they were not giving a proper movement. Maybe I was expecting too much from them and taking too big risk...
So this is my last contribution to FF. Either it will show me that there is hope or i will have to do something else in my life..
This thread will consist of 2 different strategies:

1. Neural network(deep learning) EA. Spent a year on this system, read lots of books, tested a lot of it, spent money on its creation as some steps i was not able to implement by myself to this EA. It taskes ONLY USDCAD trades with fixed tp/sl ratio based on divergence in this pair. Risk will be 1% per balance. On paper in last 3 weeks it made 22wins vs 12 loss, so 10TP during this time. Target is to make 20-30% annually with this bot, having not bigger than 20% DD. Lets see how it will go.

2. Manual trades. After long time of investigation, found where are the leaks of myself and will try to solve them back in demo account and will see how it goes. Expectations - 20%-30% annually with a DD(drawdown) not bigger than 20% There are 3 main steps that always should be kept to have not a negative portfolio:

  1. Psychology - first you have to to understand that it is a long term game. It is hard but you should to understand. You can bet big, but chances to become a millionaire during a night or year is hardly possible.
  2. System - to trade something you will need a system. It is up to you what you use. I will try to follow channels and trade brakes and divergences.
  3. Risk management - no more 2% per trade! If you increase it, wou will become a loser in long term. As putting a trade you always lose money(pay commission and fees) your first target is money preservation, second is steady capital growth, and only the LAST one is making profits. Not vice versa as everyone would like to have. Take best trades only, need to develop patience and discipline. If you want to have fun in FF(as i was doing before, putting trades without proper analysis) it is better to go to casino, at least you get some drinks for free.

Lets begin this journey. Trade explorer is named ALGO AND LT TRADING IDEAS. It is easy to generate trading ideas, but is hard to find a proper money manager to have these ideas properly translated into money.

First post is on EAs that could make you very rich. Created one (took half a year) which showed awesome results in 2010-2016. However in 2017 it generated minus. So it is hard to believe in these static trading EAs. And i suggest you not to be fooled by scammers selling them.
2010-2016 results:

#1 trade. Manual one. Buy GBPJPY. Why:
1. Price went through 147.6 level to the upside
2. Price was retesting that price with lower volume.
3. There was a hammer to the upside with higher volume
4. No new lower lows are formed.

Closing #2 trade. (Manual one. Buy USDCAD). Why:
1. 1.277 level is reached(from which i expect short retrace)
2. After press conference we have a view of BoC Poloz: Canada economy to keep growing at above potential pace
3. Canada wants to increase its interest rate so i will be looking for going long CAD if find any retraces

TP 256 pips were made, more than2 % of portfolio

five years unsuccessful loser stay with you!

5 years part time trading, lost 2 accounts with $3000.

I finally pick up 3 systems to focus on:

1 Wolfe Waves - counter trend

2 ZZC- trend

3 NEWS breakout - double ways

None of them contains martingale.
No one wants to be defeated~

#5 trade. Short EURGBP. Why
1. Today ECB left interest rate at 0% with mentioning - The Governing Council continues to expect the key ECB interest rates to remain at their present levels for an extended period of time. Key word for me was Extended which means EUR should go down
2. Yesterday GBP had prelim GDB number up at 0.4%. While negotiations on BREXIT a bit exhausted, so Britain could increase its interest rate before leaving EU showing that it has a bit more strength than EU.
3.MACD has a divergence
4. Seeing price rejection of last wave at fibbo 50%

1.Yesterday GBP had prelim GDB number up at 0.4%. While negotiations on BREXIT a bit exhausted, so Britain could increase its interest rate before leaving EU showing that it has a bit more strength than EU.
2. Today it retraced at full amount.
3. Next week japan is going to announce its interest rate and as always it is unlikely to increase.
4. Price broke 147.5 level with normal volume(not decreasing)
5. RSI is bouncing from 50s level

Ok so first SL from manual trading. What do we have:
1. Price broke SL level which was just below minor suport
2. Price did not broke still major support level at 1260.
3. Price recovered on Friday almost all high that it moved down on Thursday.
4. On Thursday unemployment came out as it was expected, not lower thats why dollar did moved up and gold down.
5. On Friday we have got GDP numbers, same as previous almost, not increased also disturbances in Europe due to Spain so which led gold to increase.

My opinion on it: still a bit unclear on gold. Due to disturbances in Europe it can increase in the beginning of the week, but because of NFP on Friday and FED rates on Wednesday, which are expected better ones, it could down lately in the week.
If FED rated won't be increased i will start looking for opportunities to buy gold again.

Yeah, I would wait for a bullish engulfing with that double bottom as confirmation.
